If you added weights, maybe that would make it work? Not sure though, as the actual thing uses metal balls which transfer the energy between the balls pretty well, with plastic, I'm not sure the energy transfer would happen as well. :)

You’re absolutely right, ultimately it was a bit fun and getting the “look” was more of a priority than it working (which would’ve been a real surprise to me if I did 😂) It looks decent on a shelf though so at least there’s that haha

No don’t feel like that haha, it was an ambitious idea
