Great review, Phoebe. Very helpful. I have been tossing up between buying this cookbook or Shannon Martinez's Vegan with Bite and this has definitely helped me make up my mind :)

I’m rewatching all your old videos bc I just love them so much and your style is so comforting and warming 💕 would you do some more ‘full day of eats’ and snack idea videos if it fits with your life at the moment? I’m sadly heading back to day treatment for my ed (yay for avoiding inpatient though!!) and could do with some inspiring meal ideas to help challenge me xx

Just curious, when we aren't in the middle of a pandemic do you socialise much? I get the sense your not much of a partier but it's hard to tell when we only see a small amount of your day/week. I'm also an introvert but I get depressed with too much solitude and enjoy going out. It's definitely a fine balance. Good luck with your book deal! xo

I’ve got this book one month ago and I’m absolutely in love with these recipes! I can’t get enough with cookie dough balls haha (or sth like this, I don’t remember its name)

Nice review! Is there a cookbook that is your favorite right now? Is there a 10 out of 10 book for you? I totally understand not dealing well with heavy sauces with coconut milk and peanut, i have IBS-C and always have to make sure my meals are not too heavy!

I guess not, as that's one of the reasons I write my own. In that I feel I have something to offer. But if I didn't have any food intolerances and was just straight up vegan then the 'Smith & Deli-icious', Jessica Prescott and Hetti McKinnon's books as well as the 'But my family could never eat Vegan' cookbook are pretty fab

Go low fodmap girl it changed my life!! But also go low fodmap so you have to make recipes and then you can bring some vegan low fodmap goodness to KZbin!!! I have survived being low fodmap by using the Monash app that tells you exactly what you can eat and how much per serve in grams. Aside from that though I’ve virtually had to self navigate because other than ‘The Wild Gut Project’ KZbin channel and the occasional video from ‘the Happy Pear’ there is an extreme lack of vegan low fodmap coverage. So many people suffer with IBS and similar conditions and you’d be doing your self and many other people a service if you went down that road and created some recipes while you did it. But no pressure haha 😂

This is so helpful and makes me want to actually use all my cookbooks that are covered in dust because I tend to make the same recipes over and over again. I post vegan food videos on my channel as well. If you are looking for some more plant-based inspiration, feel free to check them out.

Thanks for the review! I’ve never had/used any of Deliciously Ella’s cookbooks, but I subscribe to her app. Some of her recipes are great, others not so much. I’ll have a look at this one if I see it in a bookstore!
