For anyone who wants to attempt this winter hellscape mod, if you don't wanna have the issue Drewski is having with the AI seeing him through the fog, one of GAMMA's mod configuration menu's options just called "Stealth" let's you play with the AI's detection. Playing with that is probably the easiest way to make it a bit fairer.

Man this snowy mod is awesome for GAMMA, perfect for Christmas. STALKER has this extremely immersive feel when it comes to the rain and snowy grey skies / sunlight penetrating through clouds-type ambience that I don't see in many games. Incidentally my favourite weather IRL

Attaboy. The Analmeme and Gamma mods are overrated AF. I've put tens of thousands of hours into all 3 STALKER games, each, with and without mods, but I absolutely despise this sort of storyless sandbox simulator mods. They already got boring back in 2010, with The Faction War 3.

Winter mods need to come with a distance reduction on all sides otherwise it's no fun. Like someone made a rain mod for Skyrim and i can't hear zit, but everyone can hear me. Modders need to be aware of this kind of thing. And there should be varying levels of "blindness" to the enemy too. A super sighted enemy will suffer more in bright conditions.

A winter wonderzone looks cool. I’d love to see a core temp mechanic with that and some interesting Clear Sky-style heating devices made from artefacts. BTW Darkness anomalies spawn poltergeists (and controllers) but if you move slowly they won’t detect you.

Another chill video to watch while in bed, thank you for making this quality content for us Drew! As for the SR-2M Veresk, the gun is pretty busted as for some reason you are able to put it in your melee or vision slot, same thing with the P90. Opens up a main weapon slot for something like a shotgun or a Kriss Vector or any other .45 ACP sub of your choice to deal with mutants more efficiently. Anyways, thanks as always for the video and keep up the good work!

You can also put mp7 there and change calibre to 9x18. In HP form it shreds mutants and AP is very reasonable early game, not to mention plentiful. Plus most importantly it's a freaking beautifully animated mp7 so it is the epitome of cool

Just got to say this, most of the fanbase for Stalker was, is and will be in Russia. The game was dead and the modding community revived it. So some of the decisions GCS made about Stalker 2 are interesting to me. To the zombie point they do say stuff about their daughters or something like this: "Soon spring will come... it`ll be warm... like back home..." , really most of the injured people in the zone are saing things like "Damn, am I really going to die here? Like this?". To anyone who wants to listen to some voicelines you can just search for some on YT. About the DayZ stuff its better to say something like: "Я не понимаю по русски." Btw I`m really proud of you, Russian is not an easy language. Keep learning and we might yet make a cheeki breeker out of you.

Make no mistake: the real STALKER games (SoC, CS, CoP) are NOTHING like this. These shitty sandbox-freeroam mods have absolutely warped the zoomers' idea of STALKER. They've changed it into what's practically a tryhard offline-Tarkov, which never was the appeal point. If you plan to play the ACTUAL games (which I highly recommend), start with patched vanilla versions. No mods, only bug fixes if you really need (ie. ZRP for SoC, SRP for CS).

Ive been playing Anomaly for about 2 years and GAMMA close to 1. GAMMA was what got me to upgrade my pc for the first time in 5 years. No other game gives me the survival, horror, and looting combined so well in an open world. Not to mention how you really do feel like youre a Stalker among Stalkers, you watch PDA updates of ambushes, looting, and random events around the zone and thats insane! In my current playthrough im using a Sig 556 as my primary, Saiga 12 as a secondary, and an MP7 in the third slot as my PDW.
