Wow, Im still in shock that you found sugarcane in that world. I actually have an alpha winter mode world and I still yet to find one. It was already difficult finding cactus in the world, but you finding the sugarcane is like winning the lottery...

I recall that snow blocks could be layered with metadata before that was officially added around r1.8... I wonder when that got added, and if that can make this mod better. Edit: Placing stacked snow layers was added in r1.5, with stacked snow itself being added in b1.5, so some backporting would be required. That being said, I suspect just a snow slab to smooth the edges of cliffs might work well enough.

I made the mistake of enabling snow layers on the monosoho server when that first came out around 2012? Greifed the heck out of snow areas until I turned it off the next day. Merry Christmas!
