I Made Soap Using My Old Soap Scraps! | Country Garden

Country Garden is by far one of my favorite soap batches I've ever made because it gives me a chance to use some of my piles and piles of soap scraps and it looks so realistic! It's scented with alyssum which smells like flowers. I knew going into this project that I wanted these soaps to look like a spring garden complete with soil, flowers, mushrooms, and grass and I feel like I achieved that. The flowers are made from white melt and pour soap which I then hand painted with mica paint. I made the mushrooms from soap dough and I added the soap scraps to the "dirt" part of the soap to give it more of soil look. See below for the full recipe plus substitutions and my supply list! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT MY RECIPE FILLS A 42 OUNCE SILICONE SOAP MOLD BUT I ALWAYS CALCULATE MORE INTO THE RECIPE SO THAT I CAN MAKE SAMPLES. 10.80 Oz. Sustainable Palm Oil: 30% (can be substituted for lard, coconut oil, babassu oil, cocoa butter, shea butter)
10.80 Oz. Coconut Oil: 30% (can be substituted for castor oil)
10.80 Oz. Olive Oil: 30% (can be substituted for grapeseed oil, canola oil or rice bran oil)
