Yes, but spoiler warning: you unlock the mushroom kingdom AFTER you beat the game. Since Mario go hit by bowser’s hat so hard, probably he flew all the way to the cap kingdom, now cappy probably was wandering around and saw the whole thing and went to see if he is ok

For the railings, you could have a node based system, that raycasts down to the ground for each node for the supports, then draws a box from one node to the next. A bit more code-heavy but would certainly simplify things a little if you're comfortable with procedural meshes

Ive been dabbling in unity for a while now and yt recommended this... gkos choice :) also, you said about the bridge.... i find that creating a prefab of blocks helps. You can just build the object once, reimport it as prefab then move and rotate the whole object rather than the individual parts :)
