I've never used a loop turner in my life. Whenever I sew thin straps I always attach a safety pin to one end of the strap then pull it through to the other side. Works like a charm every time. Also I love the dress it's adorable!

How adorable!!!! Well done!!! I am going to make this for one of my dolls. She's bigger than a Barbie, but this will look SO cute! I noticed the Barbie doesn't come with enough 'foof' on the skirt, but I am all about the petticoats. My doll has a collection of them :D But I may end up making a special one for this dress, and leaving it sewn in, for ease of dressing and less bulk!

First Alexandra clip, for me. Interesting. The um . . alter ego . . in a good way. When she wears her glasses, she's different. I got glasses when I was 8 or 9. Didn't do much for me. I felt I reclaimed my life when I went to contact lenses. So. Glasses to access 'the seamstress' is kinda cool.
