It’s considered WWF’s low-point era but I was a kid then and never knew any better so I still look back at it fondly. It really gets weird late 96 into 97 because it’s this strange transitionary period where they’re experimenting with going edgier while still having some kiddie/goofy elements in the background. It’s fascinating on a rewatch as an adult.

I got one. Universe mode but the other half of 2006. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash never leave for WCW. Hogan returns to WWE and turns heel and the NWO is formed.
