Been meaning to pass along this materials tip in case you hadn't heard of it before: Aves Apoxie Clay mixed more-or-less equally with Green Stuff gives you a self-curing piece that cures rock-hard and is also sand- and carve-able. I picked the tip up from Tom Mason, a tabletop miniature sculptor who likes the combo for weapons, especially blades.

BIG HOLLOW KNIGHT SPOILERS!!!! Great sculpture! I just wanted to say that this is "The Knight", or "The Vessel", or "Little Ghost" by Hornet. You can really call it a lot of things, but one thing it isn't is The Hollow Knight. I saw a few other comments saying this but my overfilled head of Hollow Knight lore decided to write an explanation. So, The Hollow Knight is one of many other vessels, which are the offspring of The White Lady and The Pale King. The Vessels were created to hopefully make one "Pure Vessel" but we aren't entirely sure why they made so many. This Pure Vessel was needed to seal the Infection away, a mind-controlling substance that takes over the bugs of Hallownest. The Vessels were shells inside of an egg located in The Birthplace which is located in The Abyss which is located in Ancient Basin. The Void, a black substance capable of taking over bugs, killing them, and persuading them to do things, filled the Vessels, that is why The Shade comes out when you die. The Hollow Knight is only called "The Hollow Knight" because The Pale King selected that specific Vessel during some kind of event that some believe to be a climb, or some other things. The Pale King chose the Vessel who was soon to be The Hollow Knight, and sealed the all the other Vessels in The Abyss, left there to die. Now remember how I mentioned they got filled with Void? Yeah, well that resulted in the ones that died leaving their Shades behind, which are the Siblings you can see in The Abyss. So The Hollow Knight was picked because The Pale King thought he was pure, hence it's name, The Hollow Knight. The Hollow Knight wasn't pure in fact, you were. So for the sake of spoilers, I'm not going to go into detail of the endings, so lemme just say Hornet is the Knight's sister but because they share a father, not a mother. Hornet's mother is Herrah the Beast, as Hornet was a gift to persuade her to become a Dreamer, in order to seal the Infection inside The Hollow Knight. Also the Nail isn't a sword you were right the first time, the cloak isn't a cape you were right the first time there too, and great job, have a good day! Forgot to mention the Vessels are all genderless so the Knight is "it" not "he", but Hornet is gendered as she is the offspring of Herrah and The Pale King.
