C'mon man, stick with reality. If you actually focus a fingerboard you are doing it wrong and I hope your finger cast never gets signed. 🤣🤣🤣 ( As a 90s kid, I invented my own fingerboards making boards out of cardboard without even wheels and trucks and I used to be a skater in the 90s-20s so I am not disrepecting. ) I still have them all and even ones my friend made, and half the fun was drawing our own company brands on them and being creative. Fingerboarding is just as fun as real skateboarding!

Maple isn’t lightweight - it’s literally classed as a “heavy wood”. One of the strongest densest woods there is. Try and make it out of birch and you’ll get cracking or snapping (on foot boards, not finger - the size of finger makes density negligible.
