I made this in 120 minutes…

Hey the last video is doing insanely well so I thought I’d try out another one! This isn’t my proudest Brickfilm, but I did want to try out that background effect so it was useful.

@@JumiBricks aah possibly, but there’s still masking to make the character fly, and it’s not really easy to do masking in front of an animated monitor lol

@@Kerloft it wouldn’t really be different from normal masking though. He’d be going frame-by-frame for the background video, so he would still be able to get a clean plate.

@@stoopanimation53 ah yes, that’s right. I still think a green screen would be easier, there could also be green clay or something under the character and it would works fine, but the lighting is really good so maybe it’s a monitor

@@Kerloft I think green screen would be impossible with a shiny guy like silver surfer. There would be SO much green spill on him that chroma-keying it would look pretty bad.

Minty I figured out how to make speedster run if you make a character in running position then move them up and then merge those two frames it looks like there’s a clone of them a faded clone behind them

Btw I didn’t have to mask out the camera I had it far back enough the reflection wasn’t picked up also the lighting made it unnoticeable
