Yo imagine for the next generation we get to fuse pokemon. Obviously there would be restrictions like not every pokemon would be able fuse but if we have a fusion gimmick it will be able to tie into the Kyruem fusion with Zekrom and Reshiram because a theoretical gen 5 remake should be next generation

Fun fact about exeggcute: they are not the poultry eggs we assume they are. They are actually seeds with a solid substance that looks like yolk. However, while they are actually seeds and not eggs, they can still be cracked open and consumed similar to chicken eggs according to in-game trivia.
