Il video ha il mio "mi piace". Il film è ingenuo? Sì. E' un po' trash? Sì. E' un po' fiabesco? Sì. Risente degli anni? Sì. Ma è lo stesso stupendo. Sono gli anni '80: c'era l'ingenuità, la scopiazzatura, il fiabesco.... C'era pure il trash. Ma era tutto bellissimo, perché c'era lo sguardo aperto alla meraviglia, non quello snob, politicamente corretto e iper-critico che c'è oggi.... Il mio giudizio su questo film è più che positivo!

Facciamo anche che siamo in quattro. Tra l'altro il titolo italiano per quanto sciocco, descrive effettivamente quel che intenzionalmente è il film: oltretutto vi partecipa anche Robert Vaughn, che fu uno dei "Magnifici Sette" anche in quello vero e proprio, il western. Io mi ricordo di questo film quando ero bambino, la vigilia di Natale (forse su italia uno? boh, son passati una quarantina di anni) a vedermelo in tele raggomitolato sotto una coperta (ed in seconda serata dopo questo trasmisero Krull). Quelli erano bei Natali XD

Alone. Even if Corman was attempting a Box Office Hit equaling or excelling Star Wars, whether as a main purpose or a secondary reason, such an outcome never happened. Star Wars went on to complete its Trilogy and (like Star Trek!) to produce more Sequels in the 21st Century: The Clone Wars, Return of the Jedi, etc, On the other hand Battle Beyond The Stars remained Its own singularity as a film classic. I discourse all this to get to my main Point: These Two are a set of their own in this way:

Indimenticabile, ero un ragazzino allora. Grazie per la condivisione. Rispetto agli effetti speciali di oggi e alle sceneggiature moderne è ridicolo, ma allora, quando uscì, a me piacque molto.

Ti dirò, da grande amante del cinema io preferisco gli effetti di una volta. Li trovo più ricercati, meno "finti" per cosi dire... ad esempio adoro ciò che riusciva a fare Mario Bava, che con pochissime risorse a disposizione riusciva sempre a sperimentare degli effetti straordinari.

non fu capito dal pubblico sto film e sicuramente malgrado george peppard che ebbe un paio di insuccessispecie questo poi arrivo la fama con la serie the a team e carino come filmnonostante un paio di scene non eccezionali

These two Films: "Battle Beyond the Stars" and "Star Wars" form an interesting&unique Set of 2 of their own in a certain-special way! Of course STAR WARS is First, and this doesn't separate It from the two later Sequels that finished the original Trilogy, plus th'21st Century pre-Sequels that follow the Prior. BATTLE BEYOND the STARS was no attempt to replace or eclipse Star Wars or to rival it; It was an artistic Film creation of its own kind heavily influenced by Star Wars & imitating somewhat

Grazie mille per averlo uppato! Io ci sono cresciuto con questo film, registrato all'inizio dell'estate del '93 su una TV privata e visto e rivisto per tutta l'estate. Avevo 12 anni. Rivisto ora fa tenerezza, ma la nostalgia rende qualsiasi cosa sempre un po' speciale.

Visto tutto come penitenza! Film desolante. Per ingenuita', schematicita' dei personaggi e piglio favolistico della storia potrebbe essere un film degli anni '30. Ma no, e' dell'80 cioe' 3 anni dopo l'uscita di StarWars. Infatti ne scopiazza i canoni esteriori (la morte nera, la musica, i cambi quadro "animati" etc...) ma con risultati ridicoli perche' sono proprio le idee alla base del film ad essere povere e superate.
