I have done mine slightly differently. I used the magnets from the magnetron of the microwaves. I also have 8 transformers, not just 6 welded together. Instead of one row I have 3. It’s also driven by an electric motor from a washing machine that is fed by the generator, with 240 going into the wall socket 24/7. The hardest part was getting all the microwaves with the same size transformer and the right motor from a washing machine. The generator in the video seems to be a fake, but the concept is sound.

I have since made a larger version that’s sits in my back yard. It is about the size of a washing machine. A plastic cylinder with rare earth magnets spins against twelve microwave transformers per level, with ten levels. My advice to you if you want to make something like this is to either become educated on how to use and dangers of electricity, or find someone else who is. You have two parts to this project. Firstly to build it so it works, to get the materials. Secondly to make sure it’s safe. The power generation isn’t small and can easily kill you if you don’t do the right things and use the right materials. Also when working it makes a loud humming sound, so the area you put it needs sound proofing and is not suitable for indoors as it might catch fire.

Amazing, the coils are in series with no regard for the polarity reversal on every odd coil. Even more amazing is the connecting the loads did not load the engine down at all. It's like the outlet can't be picked up to plug in devices and unplug them. Entertainment value is good. It would be interesting to see what voltage he could have gotten with every other coil reversed. He had the right number of magnets for the project. If he didn't want to reverse the polarity of every other coil, the number of magnets could have been doubled, so all coils got a South at the same time, then a North at the same time. But the video was made for entertainment reasons, not to generate power.

@wrenchboostboi89942 жыл бұрын
I think it would definitely generate some power, but the efficiency would be terrible, the waveform or hertz would be completely messy and so inconsistent, the voltage and amperage spikes would be crazy as well. So plugging anything into this mess depending on what it was might work, but barely and it wouldn’t last long. Say just a fan for example would probably spin, but not very fast lol and over time the motor or starting cap would fry from all that noise. As for load on the motor and why it doesn’t bog down… it’s probably not even close to efficient enough for a noticeable difference. Loading it down to much would just overheat those janky wires and fry it.

Fake. That socket has a buried cord. That is why it is well hidden behind the "generator" in the first phase, then he always switches the camera very fast when disconnecting the fan, and when accidentally pulled the cord from the pump - in fact, you can see the wire if you look carefully, when he pulled the pump cord, the socket tumbles, but then in the next frame is carefully arranged again on the soil. There is no way you can generate so much energy with those small magnets and with such distance to the coils. Also, albeit the fact that the rice cooker can run, as it only has resistive heating element, the pump and the fan have motors with metal cage that work with frequency, so how can he control the "generator" to produce the 50 Hz? With 6 poles he makes three alternance periods per each rotation, so his engine needs to work at 1000 rpm to produce 3000 periods each minute, i.e. 50 Hz - from the sound of the engine, that is far off... He could demonstrate all that in the workshop, wouldn't need to go on the field, but guess what, he could not hide the cord under the pavement... So, people, don't believe all the rubbish you see on the web. If you need a generator, buy one. They are quite cheap. Edit: And something more, I hate this guy for the deplorable state he keeps his tools in, dirt, rust, etc. He should clean and oil those tools, instead of posting fake videos on YT. For me, tools are sacred! They help me make the bread for me and my family.

Come on, anyone who has ever connected a load to a generator will laugh at this Also there is a suspicious orange connector looking piece near the right motor stand. Hmmm Finally notice the very thin belt?? Might run a small fan at most. Don't know why he wasted his time and money making this thing.

Jeeesus ..first you destroy 6 splendid working MW transformers that could really be used for better purposes ("100kV" seriously?? .. at most 2-4 kV, but doesn't matter) in order to patch together a silly Solala-Generator with an air gap that is far too high and a poor efficiency - then you screw this "thing" on a board to drive the crap with a stinky, polluting gasoline engine (with an efficiency of maybe just 10%) via a MickeyMouse-fan-belt and you actually think you could use it to power loads with more than 50W? :)) The pump just sucks a little bit, the rice cooker is definitely not heating (only the display lights up) and with the chaotic load-dependent voltage fluctuations it's better not to operate sensitive loads (otherwise it will just pop). Use batteries or weld a hand crank ... that has more meaning and efficiency .o. ..such a pointless waste of resources, time and energy - idiots at work

Ei!
@JulioCesar-lm4zg Жыл бұрын

Hillarious. Instantly cooked food. Welding 6 cores edge to edge defeats the reason cores are LAMINATED, something to do with eddy currents. The 6 coils in series would generate over 1 kv, apart from the fact their phases would be all over the place. I suggest your petrol motor is actually a genset.
