Hey Pete- if you haven’t, change the lower ball joints on that booger. Use oem only, not ones from a parts house. A failure can unalive ya real quick, and they’re known to fail. New oem bolts as well with red loctite torqued to spec. Toyota fellas seeing this will know what I’m saying, they’re super dangerous on 3rd gen’s

About to swap a 3.4 in my 2nd gen, gonna throw a felpro kit on it before install

Might consider pulling the oil pan and checking the bearings! Use the lil wax strips that crush between the rod caps and crank, do the same with the mains! It will take 30 minutes to verify clearance and condition while you have the pan off! If it were me I would replace all the rod and mains, oil pump, water pump and timing components! Plus get on the forums or check with a shop and see what is common to fail and replace especially the hard to get to crap!

If your going to world cup with Garrett your in for a treat his new car is a beast 4 second 1/8th on it's second ever pass at 196 mph rolling to a 7 second 1/4 mile . it's going to be an interesting world cup this year .
