Registered dietitian. Almost 7 years of school. Lots of debt came out had to take premed classes like we’re gonna chemistry. Dietitians come out of school making like 45 a year. I’m in northern New Jersey New York City and the average dietitian makes like 70 K a year so sad.😂😂😂😂

yuppp so real my first job offer was 45k! I see so many dietitians starting their own businesses and the lower salaries is probably why!

This was very helpful learning about your journey! I'm not in marketing but wanted to know how you went about finding a career coach for your industry? Reaching out to recruiters isn't so reliable since they're busy. How did you find a reliable career coach, and a good one😊?

Glad you found it helpful! I found my career coach through an acquaintance who had just landed the job I wanted. I reached out to learn how he positioned his transferable skills and he recommended my coach. So ask your network. If you don’t have anyone to ask - I’d recommend you follow people on LinkedIn who talk about your field and see who they follow too. This way you are working with someone specialized in your field. I’ve never worked with a general career coach because I want someone that knows about the role I’m looking to land but they can be helpful if you need more general coaching!

Not sure why it’s not showing up. I wrote: Glad you found it helpful! I found my career coach through an acquaintance who had just landed the job I wanted. Engineers or anybody bragging about STEM sure hate when liberal arts majors are bagging six figure jobs. They are out there; you have to be flexible. Employers value soft skills and great communication skills, many people think technical skills is all you need, it's not. Major in whatever you like. Not everyone wants to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, nurse, accountant.
