Nice and clean on the wiring, as a former ASE certified and GM certified Tech soldering all connections and using shrink tube is a must, I still put dielectric grease in my shrink tube to seal it against moisture, I left the Dealership life behind in 05 and have been driving a Big Truck since then, best decision I could have made, after staring at the same cars, the same lifts and the same service writer for 10 years it was time to go!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Super Trucker Dan went through a period where he was having issues with replacing hood springs. He called several dealers $100 plus each, then stumbled upon a dealer that had a ton of springs in stock and I believe $39 each. Just because your dealer charges $100 plus for each spring, the next town over there might be a dealer that isn't as greedy. I have no concerns about buying a hood spring from E-bay. But vehicle electronics I'd stay away from.

I enjoyed the video. I missed the part that might make some individuals mad. I was fixing left overs and must have missed that part when I turned my head or went to the refrigerator. Anyway the video was enjoyable. About washing the trailer if it was dirty when you picked it up I wouldn't worry about it being dirty. I did catch something about grill guards. I have one on my truck actually I'm on my second grill guard. They will save your truck definitely will save your radiator grill fenders and bumper.

I was told never to put ATF into the tanks because of the red dye. DOT might see that and assume you were using ag fuel. And I never overestimate the intelligence of the DOT. Have a great day, man.

Kurt think about it paint the new hood a gray hood super bad look every time you walk up to it your going to wish you painted it plus it's just one less thing you have to get painted at some point in time you'll be able to utilize the new hood and paint for much longer until you can figure out the funds to get the rest of it done do that part start to finish if you do it that way at some point in time the whole unit gets done it'll get there.

When you talked about the dog van it just hit me that my neighbors have one. My neighbors have multiple German shepherds and they have some sort of white cube looking van vehicle for their dogs. Put in 1 quart of 2 stroke oil per filled tank (each side). Pre DPF exhaust systems and engines can (mostly all) run with 10% oil mix into the fuel so 1 quart will be a non-issue.

Was i seeing things Kurt or was Jack limping on the same side as Opie was. Brithers have this some times as in Humans it can be a herediditory minor issue. Sleeping on cold floors i found was waht coused mine to have a bad hip and how do you stop this when you cant watch them 24/7. Made a huge difference to the hood know even when tired will be much easier. Aussie Bob.

Kurt I've only been driving truck for nine years now and I started out driving a super ten speed manual transmission truck with the trucking company I first started driving for and now I drive a 12 speed automatic transmission truck for decker truck line out of fort dodge Iowa and I absolutely love the truck but I'd rather be back in a manual transmission truck
