My humble Dear prabhuji l have a question, l am a student in 10th class and trying to do bhakti l sometimes feel that studies are not important in Krishna consciousness and I'm 14,l want to be a brahmachari but l am confused l. I was so confused that l ran away from my house on 8th March but by the will of Krishna l was found by my family and Krishna sent me home again l was running from my duties. I have read many articles by great Vaishnavas in which they tell material education can be used very well in Krishna's service and l also read a letter of srila Prabhupada to some students devotee that "Our students in Krishna consciousness are expected to be preachers and they must have education because they have to face the questions of material persons So for some years student devotees should go to school get educated and prove modern science the existence of God" What should be the proper approach? Krsna has placed us in a particular situation for a reason, and our sampradaya includes Vaishnavas of various backgrounds, from illiterate to highly educated, and from brahmacharis to ghrihastas. In Krsna consciousness, the path you choose is not important. What matters is your spiritual development and progress in Krsna bhakti. Material education also has a place in Krsna bhakti, as it is Sri Krsna's external energy and can be used in His service. A true brahmachari engages everything in Krsna's service, including their spouse and children. Sanyas is meant for those who need conviction that Krsna will take complete care of them, but it requires strict adherence to rules and regulations. Following Srila Prabhupada's example, it is recommended to take sanyas after marriage and when your children are grown up. It is important to read all Srila Prabhupada's books and come to the stage of atmarama (self satisfaction). During this period, I have gone through many experiences and l will share with you what I learnt. 1.if you don't have any family pressure (And I think you don't have cuz you go to Mangal Aarti and temple and all) so you should continue with your devotional practices as krishna should be the centre of our life. 2. If you are an aspiring Brahmachari and ideally is should be the case then why don't you move into the temple? Is age a problem or something? 3.if getting a job and work is an absolute necessity then you will have to work hard I mean it's an Inspirational thing that you go to morning program every single day. If studies and preparation are absolutely important then we have to do something. 4.on the path of devotion,we have to awaken love but live practically. If you come home at 8 then you can have 48 minutes nap and then get to studies by 9am. As keshav anand prabhu says-"devotion is not about how MUCH you do things but about HOW you do things"a great saint has said-BEFORE PERFECTION,I WAS MOPING THE FLOOR,HONOURING PRASAD AND SLEEPING AND AFTER PERFECTION I WAS STILL MOPING THE FLOOR AND HONOURING THE PRASAD but what has changed? THE ATTITUDE. So if there is no any option then we have to harmonize our studies and Sadhana but Agian, bhakti should be our first priority but that doesn't mean we don't study. I will request you to hear 1 lecture a day. And take enough sleep. Take power naps as I told earlier And study for krishna.!!! Yes! But you may say how? Arjuna fought for krsna so why can't we? Wasn't Arjuna fully absorbed in battle but still he remembered krsna every second. How ? Because he knew he was a servant of krsna. So one thing to keep in mind is that-KRSNA IS MY SWAMI I AM HIS DAS LET ME SERVE HIM then whatever you do whether it be Mangal Aarti reading sleeping or studying it will be seva. Krsna wants our hearts. Currently I am In 11th preparing for pre medical expecting around 98-99% in 10gh boards by the grace of Sri RadhaGovinda. I will remind you again bhakti is the ultimate goal of life and don't compromise with it but take practical steps to study. Study hard Take sleep Crack the exam Do some service to parents And if possible try to join full time and serve krsna I know you also want this in your heart. At last be practical, Set goals Complete Sadhana by 8 am. Be refreshed and study. Eat sleep walk read all for krsna And reply if you have the desire to join full time in the mission and pray that I also develop that. Dandwat Pranavm Hear some lectures of keshav anand prabhu and radheshyam prabhu If you want to study from. 9 to 6 then 1. You should plan your day 2.note down tasks And Complete them as an offering to krsna. Crack the exam and try to offer the best to ksna and to offer the best result you automatically have to study hard😄 And don't use bhakti as a "bahana" to run away from studies as I have done that and it's a trap. Always beware of Ma yadevi.

For what purpose? Harinam has nothing to do with mental platform. You won't be able to analyse and duplicate japa chanting until you receive the blessings of the current Naam Acharya Srila Dharmavira das prabhu. Harinam is enacted on the transcendental platform and can only be received that way. It is up to the humble sadhaka to approach guru and beg for mercy. This KZbin channel and the videos are meant only to spread awareness that it is possible to receive such a blessing and empowerment to chant 64 rounds daily, even with a busy schedule. Many in our group are chanting more than 64 rounds a day. 64 rounds of Harinam is the minimum before Chaitanya Maha Prabhu accepts the offerings.

Hare Krshna! The only reason here is guru krpa, this is the real method of chanting consistently. It is not a mental thing, you can't just learn it, or else everyone could do it after reading shastra. It is a blessing and empowerment by a pure devotee.

Hare Krsna! You bring up a good point. Srila Gurudev’s blessing, and empowerment is to inspire you to chant 64 rounds a day. But it is important to understand that it is only 50% of what needs to be done. The other 50% must come from your own effort. In my case, I’m also practicing holistic health, which includes energy healing and some other modalities. I use these tools in my purification process to come to and maintain satva guna (mode of goodness). I would encourage everyone to learn different meditation techniques and energy healing techniques (prana kirya’s etc) to overcome their own obstacles and grow spiritually. This will also improve the quality and speed of your chanting. Shri Krishna only accepts offerings in the mode of goodness. And since Harinama is a form of sacrifice (yagna), it is important to be in the mode of goodness. The real qualification to approach guru is humility and surrender. Hare Krsna! I can't talk on behalf of this testimony. But my personal experience is that my mind is completely focused on Harinam, only than I can chant fast. My eyes are typically closed. There is noting besides Harinam within my mind. If I start thinking about mundane things then my chanting goes into a mechanical process and is not fast, and pronunciation is not clear as well. I found it's important to completely focus the mind on Harinam and push out anything else.

Hare Krishna! The truth is that achieving such fast chanting can only happen through the grace of a guru. The current Naam Acharya is Dharmavira das prabhu, who encourages his followers to chant a minimum of 64 rounds daily. Following 7 months of guidance and blessings from Srila Gurudev, and chanting 64 rounds daily, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my personal experience. Additionally, my chanting time decreased from 7 and a half hours to a much shorter duration. Initially, I was in disbelief, but then I came to understand that it was the blessings of Srila Gurudev.

@@DurgaBasnet This is a testimony, not a showcase. But to simplify the understanding. Srila Bhakativinod explains how japa is being done. It can be chanted aloud or softly. The more softly you chant the more subtle and faster it gets. Until it becomes sublime. But before that can happen, one has to go through the purification process and bhajana kriya (following instructions of guru)

It is by guru krpa. Our Srila Gurudev empowers his disciples to chant not only 64 rounds, but also to chant with full attention and dedication. Of course, it takes time to come to that stage, but what else is there to do in this world? This world is meant for attaining Krsna bhakti. It also depends on your own efforts and dedication. If you stick to Gurudev's instructions, eventually your enthusiasm and speed will also increase.

Chanting Harinam Japa is not a material process; it is directly enacted from the spiritual platform. However, we don't have the full experience due to a lack of self-realization and proper spiritual guidance and blessings from sadhus. When you approach Srila Gurudev, he will personally guide and empower you. Some disciples chant fast, while others do not. Half of the work is up to you. For example, my sister also chants 64 rounds, but she finishes in 5 hours. On the other hand, it does not take me five hours because I always wanted to chant fast. It depends on your level of sadhana and satisfaction of your own heart. Some disciples chant 2 lakhs or 3 lakhs, depending on their current need. I am preparing myself to chant 3 or more lakhs when I retire completely, but in the meantime, I will take full advantage of Srila Gurudev's blessings and empowerment to purify the body (Yantra) so that when I retire, I can increase my Hariname Japa. Srila Gurudev offers paramahamsa training to qualified students, and what is that qualification? Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth. In Kali Yuga, the only means of attaining the greatest spiritual realization is through Harinama. This is actually the only means to attain Krsna prema. Even Srila Prabhupada mentions in his purports how we can measure how much love we have for Krsna by checking how much we are willing to sacrifice for Sri Krsna. And the yajna (sacrifice) in Kali Yuga is Harinama. There are a lot of devotees who attained the highest perfection, from Valmiki who was instructed to chant Ram's Name to Haridas Thakura who was completely illiterate. Once you come to the stage of raga-anuga bhakti, everything will be clear. In the meantime, vaidhi-bhakti is recommended. But because we have direct access to the current Naam Acharya, our Srila Gurudev Dharmavira Das Prabhu, you should approach him because he has complete jurisdiction over every sadhaka. A paramahamsa is the guru of all, including other sanyasis. I would recommend taking advantage of his association and progress yourself in your spiritual development through Harinama.
