I manifested getting an art studio 🤪❤️‍🔥 moving in, painting & shifting perspective

YUPPP you read that right - I did manifest an art studio. Of course it isn’t like magic, things don’t always show up out of nowhere but many times when we are faced with something we’ve wished for, it can seem like it came out of nowhere. Take credit for your process! I had no idea then, but this wish of mine to have an art studio was actually over a year in the making. In this vlog, I recount the events that contributed to realizing this wish from March 2023, and a bit of what fell into place in May 2024 this year and onwards. We hear about my thoughts during last year’s artist residency, looking for an art studio, moving in, doing a group exhibition, and how my feelings towards my own paintings have changed.
This video is not advice to act hastily when you get an urge to follow a passion - but to show you my experience and remind you to take caution/assess risk when needed. It may not seem like it, but the start of your journey to live your passion begins today! Everyone’s path looks different, so take your time and enjoy the view :)
For context, I started pursuing my passion for art in 2021 after drawing and painting in my bedroom my whole life up until that point. I did not go to school for art, but continued to learn independently over the years until I felt comfortable sharing. There is much more that contributed to my artist journey, but I’ll keep it to this for now lol ::))
