I'm really impressed. What I love about Stefanie's life is that it is so simple. She doesn't waste her time for make up ( yet she looks so beautiful), she doesn't have to tidy up her house for hours like we do in Europe, there are only the most necessary things in her house. Then she has time to enjoy nature, for loving relation with her family and neighbours and simply to enjoy life.

I’ve been to Tanzania and lived with the Maasai people for a few weeks. Most people in America or the west would say they were poor but these people are rich. It just depends on how you look at it. They pay no taxes and live on the land for free. Everything they have comes from the land. If they need something they trade for it at their local market. If a family owns 50 cows and 200 sheep and goats they are considered very rich. Just look at how much 50 cows would go for in the US.

@liviusss
@liviusss Жыл бұрын
@@jakeleo4518 How can you not ask these questions, if you know their culture it's inevitable... In the Maasai culture the women have less value than cattle, they are oppressed and abused - and especially if you are a woman, of course you are going to be interested in this. Not every culture is worth respecting, and not all aspects of a culture need to be respected.

Somuch for gender equality . Somuch for actual healthcare, had the masai ruled the world this woman would be dead after her birth complications . The masai do not plan effectively and when great droughts hit them they are dependent on western style aid . Ignorance is bliss and nothing proves it more than this woman. And don't get me started on her biased opinion of the culture where she loves the culture but promotes women rights to the other masai women but doesn't enforce it at home . Having been born and raised in africa myself i can honestly say that i admire africans for their big hearts and ubuntu spirit , i like african people but i dislike african cultures . My only qurk i have with the african people is their herd mentality , they do not think independently they listen to others and follow , they will even violently stone a person to death if the rights person tells them so , which is why most of africa is in a corrupt state , the masses are easily manipulated with simplistic political tactics that have died out centuries ago in european countries . I must also add that i applaud this woman, her husband and their village for this lifestyle and showing us that all humans and cultures can live in harmony as long as we respect each other.

I can’t believe this came up. I met this lovely lady and her husband travelling in Tanzania. We kept coming across each other on our travels and she was always really lovely. I remember us getting off a long coach ride and I didn’t have a room booked back in Dar Es Salaam so she invited me to share a taxi and took me to their hotel. She surprised the taxi driver bargaining for the fare as he was trying to overcharge us, and he didn’t realise she could speak Swahili. Yeah, and lots of children would still be dying from diseases we’ve learned to prevent or have eradicated, and the average lifespan would be 35 or 40. But don’t pretend all of humanity would have been so much better off if we’d never advanced past mud huts and subsistence farming.
@TripsCloudsPureBliss

@@redstateforever her comment and mine was in reference to the world not humans. This is not a discussion about medical advancement which is a totally different issue. @@TripsCloudsPureBliss Exactly. I don't understand why so many people in the western (first) world aren't willing to sacrifice their standard of living, longer lifespans, and those of their children to be less disruptive to the environment. So selfish! I mean, what is the good of living an extra 60 years if it means the average worldwide temperature might possibly go up 2 degrees over the next hundred years? Or, that the ocean levels might rise a couple of feet in that same time? The developed world needs to take the hard choices now to ruin their economies so China and India can pollute 1000% more and negate any progress to lower carbon emissions made by the west.

@@Imakebootysclap get over yourself!!🙄 And how dare you call her a bipolar idiot. So rude and insulting to those with the condition. She is not bragging. She is simply showing her home and life to the interviewer. She also shows a lot of heartfelt emotion because she loves her husband, his family and their community. If she was doing it all for show and for herself she wouldn’t have lasted long. 9 years pretty much proves she’s genuine and in it for the long haul. Keep your useless and pointless and mean comments to yourself.😡

@@butungo1What makes her so special?. White women been loving dark meat lol. Stop having a god complex. She is their to infiltrate. No Masai man would marry a black woman of her age as she said they marry young with no choice. And she is his only wife laughable. And she has a child already. I hate to see them making accommodations for a white woman that they wouldn't dare make for their own. It's shameful really. Most Africans see whites as rich or better or for some they are the great white hope.
