I agree. He my version of D’Artagnan. I like how in his first episode he was not acting like an idiot like the movie versions of him were. He didn’t fight The Musketeers because he was being stupid. He had his reasons to fight the Musketeers when he first meets them. In fairness everyone in this show was well cast. This show came out at the right time because we had some really good young actors back then. I don’t think young actors today could do things like this. Sword fighting, shooting pistols, doing a good TV romance and doing the dark storylines.

spoiler: they don't. i think there are two main reasons. the first one is explained by Constance herself in the series: she doesn't want to raise d'Artagnan's orfans if he dies (which isn't impossible since he's a soldier). the second reason might be because of the book of the three musketeers, the couple is complitly different in the books mostly because (spoiler) Constance is murdered by Milady in the first book, so maybe they wanted to let them have a "happy ever after" without taking complitely out the dramatic situation of the book. that's just my guess

@Mattwillall I'm praying for a '10 years later' type season, so we can see how everyone has grown since season 3 and watch their kid's antics as they grow up. I doubt BBC will bring it back, but I still think about this show every day

Them being the only couple not confirmed to have kids by the end of season 3 was just mean, I reckon. Not that it can't happen post-show, but I would have loved to watch a scene where Constance reveals her pregnancy to her found family

As it sounds mess up as it is. There are the only couple that didn’t have children but I don’t really believe that. They were very young when they got married so they had all the lives to have them. For me I always like to think sometime after series 3 they had children in the end.
