For the corner combo consistency you want to delay cl.M after the first wall bounce

Been maining her since the early weeks of the game. She was strong before too, I think people just severely underrated her. Her far H is criminal as a stop sign, she has a looping safejump combo in the corner and the 214L is dumb. If they spot dodge you're usually plus, on block you're -2 at a range where you can just see the opponent tendency, if they answer with 66L your 5L will beat it and if they press a far button you can spot dodge dodge always and be in a good spot if they did an L button and with advantage if they did a medium

Anila is much better now, but I think she will just be mid tier (which is fine). She deals good damage now but she has to spend brave points for it a lot of the time. I think her current level is where everyone should be at TBH.

So the skin thing actually IS hard. The modders complain about it a lot. And most of what the cook up is texture stretching. It was a big deal when they announced that this game would even have them because arcsys has talked openly about how their animation style makes skins effectively like a character remake. The entire model needs to be re rendered and re animated.

You just need to keep playing, it's not really a good idea to compare yourself with someone, even worse considering he's a professional player, even i that have been stuck on A for ages(had to stop playing for a time because of Relink and DD2) knows that. What you most do is absorb what he's doing in the video and try your best while playing, if you go comparing yourself to someone you're just going to get desmotived to play.

It’s so weird, I’m so fixated on using the motion inputs, but not a lot of the pros actually use them. I don’t think you used them even once in this video! Is this the power of the skill button?

There's just not much reason to use them other than habit. You only get the damage bonus for using tech inputs if the skill is the first hit of the combo, so during combos there's literally no difference. There's also no difference if the opponent blocks or dodges. On the other hand, the skill button saves time on every input. If you want to DP on reaction, the frames you spend doing the motion input might be the difference between getting it out on time or not. And just in general it makes misinputs less likely.

Rather concerning that this is the kind of buff they're doing. Instead of buffing her core strengths, they just gave her soriz punch 2.0 so you can just do it while you do it just doing it but on top of a sheep. Casuals will be delighted to hit a 65% damage combo without having to interact with the opponent.
