Why is that odd, pricing often has to do with the raw oils. The better the quality, the pricier the production cost.

I was skeptical but I bought it and it came in yesterday. To my nose this is the the best clone of aventus and quite frankly can stand side to side with aventus and hold its own. 🔥🔥

The Aventus from 2010 certainly was a beast-mode fragrance. I was very self-conscious wearing it as its projection was quite good, as was its longevity.

I remember wearing it to uni 2010, and at my lunch break I went to Subway. While I was standing in a packed line, the lady working the counter said out loud, "damn, who smells sooo good?" The girl in front of me turns around and says, "it's this guy!"

I remember first smelling Aventus and Bleu de Chanel EDT when they dropped back in 2010. I was working at the mall in perfume department and was blown away by those two fragrances. They were absolute game changers and opened up the door for the blue fragrance genre which is now so popular.

@@wassupinlasvegas9735 yes my brother used to wear Polo Blue back in the 90's. I always thought some modern blue fragrances , particularly Versace Dylan Blue, smelled a lot like it.

The price is expensive when you consider you can get the real Aventus from discounters for £190 for 100ml, insidious would cost £160 for 100ml. £30 cheaper for a clone is insane. My 2022 batch smells good and actually has pretty good longevity 5-6 hours

The point here is that Insidious replicates a popular batch of Aventus that is no longer available. It is for people who enjoyed that particular batch and can no longer buy it from Creed.

There are absolutely no British discounters doing 100ml of genuine Aventus for £190 nowadays man, 50ml maybe. I've been keeping an eye on it on Allbeauty, Seescents and all the rest and it hasn't dropped below £240. The lowest the 50ml tends to get is £160 so Insidious doesn't seem to bad value in this respect.

Why would Insidious cost £160 if it were available in 100ml? It would more than likely be around the £120 mark, if you know anything at all about buying bigger bottles and paying less. All brands charge more per mil for smaller bottles and less for larger bottles. And just because it is a clone does not mean oils and the composition of the fragrance is cheap. Clones can contain pricey and very good quality oils you know.

I have 2022 aventus and it smells to me like aventus! Are they all that much different? Probably not by much. My fav “clone” is Mont Blanc “Explorer” which is well worth the money

It’s funny how when everybody talks about CDMI they always talk about the EDT. If you want a great fruity / smoky batch with a fantastic smooth smoked vanilla and leather dry down spend $60 and get the 150ml bottle of CDMI EDP. Hands down my most complimented fragrance. When you get a compliment from a hot banker chic from behind a glass border you know you have on something good.

It's probably because the EDT still has the best performance out of the entire cdnim line. It projects far better than the EDP, Parfum and Limited Edition versions. The only downside is the opening.

To me, It smells synthetic not naturally fruity like Aventus. CDN would not get any closer if they use the cheap synthetic perfume oil.

Absolu is an entirely different type of fragrance. If you love the original Aventus DNA don't think Absolu is going to be anything like it. It's like comparing Sauvage EDT to Elixir. Night and day.

I ve got a few great clones over the last few weeks of aventus aviator intense and al dur al maknoon can't complain both were £15. I ve had aventus and to be honest my favourite clones were laventure by al haramain which I think is the best quality and reyane tradition insurrection pure 2 no it isn't smoky however it is smooth and like a fruity aventus personally I prefer a smoother batch rather than smoky.. I had 2016 and 2017 batches of aventus. It annoyed me to no end when they discontinued the 75ml and 125 ml..

I like the Creed Aventus DNA. I don't mind wearing both Creed Aventus and all of the Creed Aventus dupes/clones. I rather keep wearing the best in my opinion. 1: Hamidi Addicted Intense 2: CDNIM Pure Parfum 3: L'aventure Intense 4: Rasasi Lui Zebra 5: Dumont Nitro black

Great lineup. Those are pretty much all my pics for best Aventus clone too. Id also add Afnan Not Only Intense even though it's not an exact Aventus clone. It's still just absolutely gorgeous.

I got my a few days ago, I will be honest I think I have to let it macerate for a while because it is still very harsh in the opening and not long lasting I have been looking forward to smelling this DNA will give an update after about a month or so. All the same the dry down is okay I am not blown away at the moment we will give it a try later into the year. Great video guys, love your content. ps if any one has let thier bottle sit for a while how are the results? Many thanks love to the community.

Interesting, very original bottle design 🙄😂 I too hate autumn and winter Mas, shorter days, cold weather I can stand a little cold but that's it. I don't know I'm really tired of the DNA and I have 3 twists on the formula that I really like, in special Morning Chess, but good to know there's a new kid in town and it's good, thank you guys!!!

The UK fragrance groups were the testing ground for this fragrance. I've given this a few wearings and it does not deliver the Aventus scent profile. Seeing the bottle with "Made in UK": how could it be "Vintage Aventus" with all of the IFRA restrictions! You'll see friendly reviews that skirt around the flaws in this clone largely I suspect because a well known UK reviewer aka fragrance weirdo/ Dan Rothschild has released this. Insidious does not move the needle and it's apparent from the first spray. As the fragrance progresses It doesn't get closer to the Aventus DNA. Lasting qualities are also wanting. No smokey birch, none of the vintage notes.

Made in uk is a legal requirement simply because it’s bottled in UK. They don’t claim it’s an exact formulae breaking ifra rules do they ? Shocker it’s not illegal to produce and sell none ifra …..

Thanks. Nice to receive a shout out by name but for the avoidance of doubt this is only bottled in the UK and we haven’t claimed it to be non IFRA… it is however a complete rework of Aventus from ground up by a genuine master perfumer. We paid a lot of money for this hence the pricing. This isn’t a generic chemical analysis rehash. We do aim to do larger better value bottles in the new year. Best. Dan

Insider Parfumes are great, I have TF Amber Absolute only about 15ML left and recently bought Damber Wabsolute at Luckyscent and it is very close if not better and will get even stronger with age. Do you know about that one and what is your opinion if so? I am definitely down to try Insidious even though I have 2 bottles of Creed Aventus. Cheers Mate 😎

Emperor Extrait is better imho, a little more refined and blended with iso super E. Insidious is a good clone of Aventus but not great, it's the smoker version. That being said, there may be need for more maceration.
