Pam, I can’t say enough about what you’ve given me. Whatever you name it, the magic and gifts you give the world of crochet and small business ownership is invaluable. You’ve given me so many tools to get my business going but also have helped me grow as a person. I can’t thank you enough. ❤

The business coaches I've known have started in one field, built a successful business then pivoted towards business coaching, the same as you. However, they coach people from MANY different niches, because of that they can't help everyone with specific insights into their niche because they can't know everyone's niche. But no one says they're not real business coaches! They can still coach on business, mindset and how to be successful. Just because you've niched down to coach yarn related businesses doesn't make you any less of a business coach! You're helping people to build their businesses, you're helping with mindset and business strategy and adding in the benefit of the things you learned by being a crochet designer/maker. You've been where I want to be, so I want to hear from you! ❤

Don’t you dare worry about people being jerks! Keep doing what you’re doing. People change direction in their careers all the time! To me it seems that you have ‘moved up’ in your very own company. You’re at a higher pay raise than designing patterns now, good good for you! Put people’s opinions out of mind and get back to… I’m gonna say it… coaching those still working on moving up in their own ladders 🤗

What you do has been built off of making, designing and then building the business of “coaching”. Not doing something anymore doesn’t mean you don’t know how it’s just that you have shifted and grown into a different space. I am grateful and appreciate your coaching, cheering, insight, and you have pushed me and stretched me to grow past where I was into what I can become. Thank you!!

Your pricing formula helped me and my business grow a lot. You inspired me to push through my dream of becoming a designer. I used to be a crocheter but my business now is all about fingerknit/handknitting. I just opened an etsy shop for my patterns which is another income stream for me and i already made 4 digit sales so far. I feel like not a lot of people are open to the fact that not all people do this as a hobby. Me personally does this for a living. Thank u for being our cheerleader! I appreciate you!

I love watching people/crocheters like you grow and change. This is part of personal development and very inspiring! The biggest mistake I made was asking "How can I make money crocheting?" instead of "What is my mission as a crocheter?" I'm just starting out, but there are so many opportunities and niches for crocheters, because crocheting is much more than “just making things”. We can teach, coach, write books, use it therapeutically, use it to build communities, as an art form, as a rebellious act, as a way to change environmental habits, as a way to have fun and play and much more... I think once we crocheters find our own personal mission, then our businesses start to make money regularly 🙂

Most people who coach sports teams have never played the sport or are no longer playing the sport; no one complains about that🤔. Pray on this and do what the Lord leads you to do.

I think the sports use of 'coach' is helpful as a definition, even in the craft biz world -- the coach prepares the athlete for the game, but isn't on the field with the player. The coach may have been a player in the past, and draws from specific experience and knowledge. Coaching may include some encouragement from the sidelines, or some tough-love when reviewing day to day outcomes. The coach offers input when the player returns to the bench between plays, or to the locker room after the day's challenge. The coaches main job is to get the player mentally and physically ready for the game: exercises (whether that be wind-sprints or writing an elevator pitch) help develop skills the athlete (crafter) needs to play their own game on the field (or at the craft fair). A mentor is more of a star athlete that someone looks up to, with some street cred; it could be a top influencer in the field, that people are compelled to post a quote or poster about for inspiration, or if they are lucky, they get a bit of recognition or advice from the person, or are taken under their wing to some degree. I think of a mentor as a more 'passive' role; someone who highlights their own journey, and allows the follower to take from that the lessons that are helpful.

I got off on my own tangent -- but yeah, a coach should NOT be on the field currently. How could they be a good coach if they are focused on their own game? Does the football team coach take a turn on the field, just to prove he's a good coach? Of course not!!

I have been in a slump with my crochet business. I have taken a hiatus from social media for the month of January and will be returning in February. I am interested to know what you suggest for me to start and make a big impact?

I don’t believe their convo is about you.. if they were, hopefully they would do a quick search to find your original designs, craft market set up/pricing strategies, and how you grew from selling simple finished items to 6-fig

How about we make up a term... instead of BFF (Best Friend Forever) you are a BBF (Business Best Friend)!!! A bestie gives you the reality check, but supports you fully, but in the biz world! Ha ha!

They were not talking about you. And if they thought they were talking about you they invented a strawman version of you to talk about so that’s not you anyway.
