Some has probably said this before, but what a dumb place for an oil cooler. We have all been there filling gearboxes and this is a lesson you learn the hard way. Well done on getting those lights to work.

try to see the code on the pyro fuse, u just need that small bit, not the one with all that big plastic thing, just unscrew the damaged one and put in the new one, and is like 4-5 times less expensive

Those connectors absolutely have a home and go to something in your front bumper. More than likely they go to a front radar ACC sensor, the front camera that goes between the kidney grilles and the close range radar sensors on the corners of the bumper.

not sure if anyone has said but that aint how you service an auto gearbox man. You cant drain all the oil as some is retained. you likely overfilled the box. you need to measure what you drained and replace like for like or have it done by a garage with the right equipment. new gearbox wouldnt be cheap 😅

Those connectors on the front end which you left disconnected are supposed to be connected to 2 modules - one on each side of the bumper. The modules are placed on the bumper itself ,they both are the same but I forgot their purpose

the X3M has the 8hp ZF transmission. you can buy the oil directly from ZF (same as the BMW oil, just cheaper) and it also comes with a manual for the procedure you need to do for an oil change. it will tell you all about the temps etc. so next time when you work on a ZF transmission you can go this route.
