I think everyone else in Inchy’s kingdom can fly and growing up Inchy was sad because he was the only one who couldn’t. But his parents told him to just believe, be patient and that maybe one day he would be the strongest fairy of all time, unite the fairies and bring peace to all fairy kind. He never understood this since all fairies were united under one kingdom (this is where Katherine comes in). Now there is a book of fairy legends from Inchy’s kingdom that his parents hid for him to find. This book states that there were once two brothers who were the two princes of the fairy kingdom but they did not agree on how the kingdom should be ruled so they split the kingdom in two one for each brother. Over thousands of years the two kingdoms evolved. But one day a fairy born without the ability to fly would become the greatest and strongest fairy of all time (gaining the ability to fly in the process) would unite the fairies and bring peace to all fairy kind once more.
