Stop playing with a mic if the toxic is getting to you. I'm serious. If you can't reply to the toxicity, you'll notice before long that it's just funny. Truly toxic people feed off the reply. I get that any kind of constructive criticism gets the 'toxic' label and you'll see the difference between truly toxic and someone saying 'dude, you'd have a better time if you were shooting more than looting. there's loot in every game. it's not special.' what i just said would get the label 'toxic' when it's not. it's just letting someone know that they're missing out by chasing that little dopamine hit every time they get a shiny that's just going to end up in a box for someone that has actual teammates.

I have a Pred buddy rank#8 in pred, and im alot better then him, but i cant solo que to masters for my life, i just get hard stuck D1, im better then majority of preds but I think my decision makeing is whats falwed, What kinda play style do you do when you solo que, or qued up with one other person

Your friend, if they aren't playing with usual teammates, is using comms. With randoms. And not toxic, negative crap that starts a fight either. I know it's easy to get toxic with dumb stuff but "ok, here's the plan...." typically yields a better result. Despite what a lot of these Rambos think, Apex is a team shooter. Even 'bads' have value on a team. Bads are like a Mirage decoy but way better. And keep an eye on your teammates. Got a looter on team that likes getting shinies? Keep a shiny in your bag to drop and ping to bring them to a fight. Got someone that thinks Apex is a hide and seek game? Sorry, but your best bet is to either play hide and seek with them or pull other teams to and past them so they can be shot in the back. Also, are you dropping hot? I have a much better win percentage from not dropping hot than I do dropping hot. Dropping hot means really bad players have a good shot at killing you because they're just capitalizing off the work of others. Those off to the side places that always have at least one other team flying there are money. You fight one team and beat it, your whole team is psyched and ready for more. You fight six teams and beat them.....well, that sometimes happens but not very often. If I was to take a wild guess as to what's really holding YOU back is hot dropping. Write down on a piece of paper Hot Drops with two columns below it: Success and Failure. Do 10 hot drops and put a checkmark in the appropriate column at the end of the game. You'll stop doing them.
