I always have this rule for myself that is to not push myself to others. To make them stay with me no matter how much it hurts me. Granted that the situation is a bit complicated in the story since it is his wife and daughter, i feel like my decision will still be the same. As soon as i asked once if they want me or not, and ask for the second time for reiteration and still their decision is still the same, i'd be moving on. No keep in touch if things go south, and certainly no comeback. Once someone said they dont like me in their life anymore, it is over. If my parents, siblings, partner, friends, or offspring decided to cut me off, it will stay that way. Already did it quite a few times, they always come back begging once they have nowhere to run or they realize their error.

I felt like Hidenori is just a messed up, envy snob who just wanted what MC has, from child to even as an adult he had the audacity to asked MC to give his wife and daughter just because he thought he wanted to have a family of his own. Masashi however, has always looked up to him naively and even easily gave away his family just because he thought he's a "genius" and should get whatever he wanted. Afterstory: Hidenori somehow managed to oay off the loan sharks, but his reputation went down the gutter. He hadn't learned his lesson though. When he found out about Masashi's new girlfriend, he tried to steal her away. Shino, however, called him out for being a fake genius. Asking how he can call himself one if he stole everything from someone else. She did say it was fitting that he called himself an elite, since it was a synonym for asshole. This was when he got a flashback to another old friend of Masashi, who pretty much told him the exact same thing. We'll call that guy Katsura, Masashi's actual best friend. Being told the same thing twice, Hidenori recognized his defeat and walked away. Shino tells Masashi about what happened. He says he hopes both his ex friend and ex wife will learn from all this. Shino says she ain't holdin her breath on that, but does hope Yukari grows up to be better than both of them. Speaking of whom, the aformentioned Katsura came across Yukari at a bus stop. He gave her advice to avoid greed and envy, the two things Miho and Hidenori were consumed by.

Afterstory: Fate for Hidenori: Hidenori could no longer bear getting multiple calls from the credit card companies and decided to run away from Japan by using the last of his money for a one way ticket to Australia. Upon arriving there, Hidenori couldn't get a job in the business he use to work for and the only ones available were at Direct Haul which has a massive fleet of Road Train Tankers. The entry job was cleaning the Road Trains and Hidenori had no choice but to accept it. He's clearly having a tough time at Direct Haul as the Australian Heat bears down on him, the amount of trailers he has to clean since Road Trains haul more trailers than one or two, and the truckers clearly had second thoughts about a man from Japan being employed as a Road Train Cleaner. Fate for Miho and Yukari: Like the story said, Miho and Yukari were unable to get back with Masashi as he is now dating Shino. Devastated, Miho now works at a convenience store and raising Yukari as a single parent. Yukari was not happy with the new lifestyle and no matter what she sees and wants it, she couldn't get it cause Miho told her that they're on budget and they had to sell all the luxury items they brought to help pay the bills and essentials. Yukari clearly wasn't taking it very well as it was shown when the two went out to the mall and Yukari saw a giant polar bear doll and wanted it but it cost $10,000.00. Miho told Yukari she can't have luxury toys right now cause they're on a budget but Yukari wasn't having it. She threw a huge Caillou-like temper tantrum as everyone in the mall witnessed it. Just then, someone had purchased the polar bear doll and the person happens to be Goku's first son, Gohan who got it as a gift for his wife Videl. Yukari tries to ask Gohan for the doll but he politely declined it. That made Yukari angry and she threw another Caillou tantrum and tried to take the doll by force. However, she was unable to get her hands on the doll since Gohan was quick to dodge her attempts. Miho was forced to take Yukari out of the mall as security told her that she and her daughter need to leave for causing a disturbance. After that, Miho grounded Yukari for causing such a ruckus and took all of her privileges, which that made her even more mad. Yukari clearly didn't learn and started being a bully at school as she would demand things from other students and would beat them up if they don't comply. Her bullying got so bad, she ended up in Juvenile Detention after hurting another student up to the point which the injury required medical assistance. Yukari is not enjoying her time at Juvie and would often get into fights with other juveniles, resulting in her being in solitary confinement regularly. Miho was now left all alone with no daughter and no husband. She's now become increasingly miserable and vowed to never date or have kids ever again. Fate for Masashi and Shino: After a lot of dating, Masashi and Shino became husband and wife and their restaurant businesses flourished. Everyone in Japan and the world wanted to try the couple's Cafes and Patisseries, which earned them a massive fortune, becoming two of Japan's richest restaurant owners. Their biggest customers were Goku and his family as they can't get enough of the food. Of course in return, Goku would deliver supplies for the businesses as his farming business grew very successful and was able to supply all eateries in Japan as well as expanding beyond Japan. Gohan mentioned to Masashi how he encountered Miho and Yukari at the mall and Yukari tried to take the polar bear doll from him and went into a temper tantrum after he politely declined, resulting in both her and Miho to leave the mall. Masashi laughs it off saying Yukari got what was coming to her after getting the greedy attitude from Hidenori. Videl mentions that Miho and Yukari aren't doing so well since Yukari's greedy attitude landed her in Juvie and Miho is left all alone with no husband and no daughter. Shino replies that the two deserved what they did to Masashi and hopes to never see them again. A year later, Shino became pregnant and gave birth to two healthy twin girls with Masashi naming them Tari and Satsuki-Chan. Masashi was finally happy to have the life he dreamed of and happy to have a family who supported him for being him and not his wealth. The End.

If you ask me Masahi doesn't deserve his happiness either. Yukari should have been the protagonist.
