I'll be honest I dont really appreciate her music. I know shes made some amazing songs. As a nigerian, growing up in the west made me seem too foreign to my people. I wasnt embraced when I went to school there. I grew up with all the classic artists though. PSquare, Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, all the weddings played the same music. The conditions in Nigeria, the lack of infrastructure, and the corruption within the government upset me. I love the culture but ive never fully embraced it. It doesnt define me as a person like other people. I like this interview though, and I'll take a closer look at Tem's music
