SAMMY.... I cant tell you how much I appreciated and enjoyed every second of this upload! Of course being Garrett's dad, I'm biased having watched him pour his life into his knuckleballing craft. From the first time he kicked a soccer ball he was hooked! These past 10 years have gone by so quickly and have been filled with OMB searches and finds as well as time and miles traveled finding the best pitches and goals in the area. There have been many camcorders, cameras and tripods to go with all the balls & boots. We have spent many hours saving damaged match balls that had leaky valves, and panels. We learned together how to fix and repair most all of them! Watching Garrett grow and get stronger has eventually made me move out of the goalkeeper position as I became to painful to endure. He knuckles became more and more powerful and unpredictable and along with that, his old man became more and more paranoid and eventually injured trying to stop his blasts. Ultimately, he was too good and I had to bow out of his uploads! I know how excited Garrett was to make this trip to meet up with you and Ben. I can only imagine how much it means to meet up with others that share and enjoy the same passion as you three do. Like you said, Knuckleball kickers are kinda rare which make it even more memorable to experience a day such as this. I loved seeing you guys enjoying every aspect or the art of knuckleball kicking and all the videography that goes along with it. Sammy, your passion is 100% pure and I thank you for being so open emotionally about how much this day meant to you personally. I'm quite sure Garrett and Ben felt the same way having have watched your videos since they were little kids. Your tribute at the end of this video was so heartfelt and emotional and made me wish I could have been there to see you all together first hand. Your words about Garrett and Ben being the future of Knuckleball kickers has to be awe inspiring for them to hear ( maybe even a bit intimidating, no pressure fellas) . I hope they both heed your wisdom and do indeed keep up all their had work to keep up all the great content! Lastly I'd just like to say that in a world where so many things seems to be spiraling in the wrong direction, it's a nice change to see 3 dudes that just seem to be genuinely appreciative and humble of each others friendships! I've watched this video four times now, and each time I watched it I was smiling the whole way through. This meetup was genuinely one of the best days of my life. Having the opportunity to meet up with you and Ben is something that I have dreamt of for years. Taking freekicks has been the most consistent passion in my life since 2014, and one of the biggest reasons for that has been your channel. Back in 2016-2018, especially, I would be watching your videos (and some other knuckleball content creators) in school. I would watch your videos with friends and then go out into my front yard and try to replicate your technique. I would watch the footy vlogs, twin battles, unlucky efforts, etc.. I would watch these videos while I ate and in my free time. It was probably obsessive. After all these years of interacting with you through KZbin alone and only interacting with Ben online, it was the most surreal thing ever to meet you two in real life, especially because you are such genuine and amazing people. As you said in the video, we literally just talked for like two hours before even taking freekicks. Anyway, I'll leave the paragraph at this: When I first started making content myself, the absolute ULTIMATE goal I had was to meet up with fellow content creators who shared a passion for knuckleball freekicks, matchballs, and content creation. It's for this reason that meeting up with you and Ben is something that I feel indescribably grateful for. And of course the video... You did a great job at putting it all together, as watching it really felt like I was reliving it! It was so funny to watch back the moment when you got off the train and saw Ben and I, because I can tell you that we were both doing our absolute best to stay composed 🤣 I also love the emphasis on the matchballs because I'm a nerd for that stuff. I'm also really hoping Konzi answers Ben's question 🧐 On top of that, you giving us those Umbro balls was super nice of you! It's so funny, because Ben kept telling me that he felt like he would randomly hit his best shot ever with the Umbro ball because of the feel and performance, and then shortly after he hits 8:47... I meannnn look at that shot!! And I absolutely agree with everything you said in 'The Purpose' segment, as well. As for the freekicks, I had no idea you said 'NICE!' that many times 🤣 Seriously though, I'm glad we were able to find a field that had a nice chill, lowkey vibe to it in a pretty area. Oh yeah, and something else I want to mention is that the first shot that you hit with the Wawa Aba off camera when Ben was taking photos was insane! I wish we had that one on video. I also really like this shot Ben hit at 11:20, as it had some great dip. And of course, I could not have asked for a better moment than 11:38.. Well, maybe if the second shot went in, but regardless it was still a great clip! I also loved 13:14, 13:39, 14:02 (Imagine that going top corner), and 14:07 which was insane! might have been my favorite strike of the day. Just need to move back ;) Also, thank you for those kind words at the 'Ben Rowe & JustKnuckleIt' segment. What you said was like the ultimate compliment, especially since I consider you to be one of the best to ever do it. Furthermore, I think the 'Value of the Knuckleball' segment really shows how special of a moment this was. You have given so many people the inspiration to pursue this unique passion, and I, and many other people, are incredibly grateful for that. Oh and and going to Walmart with you and Ben is probably one of the most random things I've ever experienced 🤣 I can't lie though, I think I have a newfound appreciation for Walmart after hearing about the unfortunate state of snacks in the U.K.! Well, I have truly written an essay. I think I've said just about everything, but once again, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and Ben. What an incredible video, Sammy! This is officially my favorite video on KZbin now. It was an honor to meet you - it still feels surreal to me, honestly. Like I said, I was just a young kid when I watched your videos for the first time, and became hooked instantly. Really man, you genuinely inspired me to enter the knuckleball freekick world. I would confidently say that you’re one of the reasons why I started (and keep going to this day). It was fun watching this, because I basically got to relive the entire day again. Connecting with you and Garrett on both a professional and personal level felt awesome. So many commonalities between the three of us - knuckleballs, matchballs, content creation, etc. No wonder why we talked for 2+ hours before taking a freekick! I’m glad that our techniques were on point too (and Garrett was just… on another level) it made for some solid content. We lucked out with the pitch as well, because it was quite peaceful. wow mate, this is genuinely one of my favorite YT videos i've ever watched. to add some context, like Garrett & Ben, i've been watching your videos for probably close to 10 years and i'm 24 now. i couldn't agree more with what both of them said - you & Charlie have truly inspired a generation of knuckleball fanatics (myself included, albeit i've slowed down a bit since i started working full time) and you both should be proud of the consistency that you've maintained over so many years. that aside, i also had the privilege of meeting up with Ben for a session this summer and will let him confirm, but I literally said the same exact thing - the level of quality that both him & Garrett have achieved as TEENAGERS is genuinely mindblowing. in my opinion, Garrett is probably the best knuckleball freekick taker i've ever seen, and Ben has become a massively influential figure behind the creative direction of social football content across the industry due to the work he's done on his own channel as well as a number of other massive channels out there. to echo your point, the sky is the limit for those two, and the fact that they are such good friends outside of the work that they've done is really exciting to see. really great stuff putting this video together - it came out perfect! & given i'm also in the NJ area i'll have to ask Ben the next time you plan on visiting, because i would absolutely love to hit some freekicks with y'all! nothing better than sharing your passion with those who share the same enthusiasm as yourself. great stuff gents #Knuckleit 👊

So much to say about this so I’m just gonna say it all 🤣 This is so sick! Legends on the knuckleball freekick scene 👏 The fact that the likes of Ben and Garett got the technique on lock at such a young age is awesome! That umbra ball seems to be hidden gem for knuckleballs, especially after seeing those bangers from Ben 🔥 The ending almost had me in tears but Sammy is definitely one of the leading reasons I started filming freekicks 4 years ago. You were always so reassuring that with more time and practice my technique would improve otherwise I was losing my patience way too easily at the start of my journey 🤣 your a real good person and obviously real good at freekicks! Well damn, that was one of the most touching and inspirational videos I've seen in a long while. I gotta say that I also used to dream about a collab with other knuckleball KZbinrs, including you, Garrett and Ben. I'd also like to chime in on the repair part of this video. I've repaired quite a few match balls and it's really simple and not that risky at all. In terms of the valve removal. Just be sure to lubricate the valve before removing it. That will help ensure the valve does not get pressed into the ball. I always use a crochet hook and try and force whatever air is left in the ball when I insert the hook. From there, it pops out easily once you get the hang of it and do it a few times. Secondly , the tire sealant is an amazing fix. From my experience, different tire sealants work much better than others and Bontrager's Tire Sealant works wonders on match balls. I also find that this particular sealant seems to last for a very long time or even permanent. Bontrager also makes a tire sealant injector for $12 if your interested. There area couple of major tips I can offer. You don't need much sealant at all (less than an ounce will usually do fine). Once you add the sealant, make sure you pressurize the ball to at least 12 psi. After that make sure to keep the ball moving for 10 or 15 minutes. just rolling it around and even better taking it out and kicking it. You want to make sure the sealant is put under enough pressure to force its way into all the areas around the panel that is leaking. I always mark the ball with a piece of electrical tape where the leak is and make sure the sealant moves around well in that area. As you all know, the risk is worth the reward to be able to fix these balls as the prices are only going higher and they are becoming more and more hard to find......................Cheers!
