First thing first, accident aachuna: 1) after meeting with accident, call police and call your insurance company immediately and tell them the place and location. 2) CSR will be provided by local police station, else you can file CSR online in TN police website, that is enough…if you want pay 2k to a local police station and get CSR immediately. 3) Insurance will arrange towing the vehicle and clearing from the spot, assessing the damage etc. 4) your car will be repaired after surveyor come and survey the vehicle, if he determine its a total loss, he will tell that as well. Process is simple, don’t complicate things when you meet in an accident! Your car chasis will be bent bro, don’t take risk, just give the car in insurance and take total loss…because its really not worth it…dont take that car, it won’t withstand in the next accident. I understand the pain but don’t repair that car, it saved you but don’t take that car ever back again. I did the same mistake by taking my car but its not the same ever since. Hence, I sold it later 5 months. Showroom is not lying about the bill, because they included the frame as well, which can be repaired but don’t do it for your safety sake.❤

@@thamizhanaram3134 yeah bro…he might have bought the car for 8 lakhs approx considering this one have sunroof which comes only in top model of city. He might have bought the insurance on discount offer hence the IDV value came down less than what he bought the car for which took him to make the decision of repairing it. But, tbh its north worth taking that risk than buying some other low end vehicle for the money he receives from insurance company and go for swift or something…but you know youtubers and the followers, they won’t take that risk. All we can hope is that he doesn’t end up in another accident with god’s grace❤️ To those interested in the insurance topic, never get the insurance on offer and try to increase IDV value as close to your purchase price by paying more premium which helps in such situation, when it comes to total loss (determined total loss when the repair cost is 45% of your IDV value in any insurance in India). So be careful in buying insurance and don’t go for discounted one which puts you in tough spot like this one to make an ultimate decision and even after repairing, if you try to sell it…that can be easily identified as accident vehicle and you will end up selling for way too less than market value of the car. You all can ask how do I know? Yeah from my own experience😅

Same incident happened to us. Me along with my family went to kodaikanal. Two cars. Two family. Our car is honda city. While returning from Poomparai village everyone in car slept except my uncle. My uncle was driving! Suddenly in a turn he lost control and hitted the side platform. When we woke up the left front wheel was on the steep of the hill hanging. We all got out of the car. If the platform wasn't strong the same as in the video would have happened. So those who blaming the driver in comments "accidents happens, but safety of the road is also matters"

met with an accident along with four of my friends in Kolli hills (Sengarai). driver and co-driver with seat belton survived with no injury, whereas me and my frd at the rear injured (humerus bone fracture with 2 surgery and 3 rib bone fracture, my friend with thigh bone and all left rib fracture also gone through two surgeries) we were travelling in my car Eco sport. post accident trauma haunted me for almost a year. Even now I avoid travelling to hill station and trying to recover. drive safe no matters its plains or Terrains .. worst part is insurance, right after the surgery, I was engaged on call with insurance. we left the car in the 20 ft pit for a night and wheels, infotainment were stolen.
