coming from a 3 year starbucks barista you are every employees worst nightmare. if you don't work at starbucks you don't understand how the inner workings of it all go. all cold brew is made in small batch because that is how the company gives it to us, no one in your store has any control over that, the people who make the decisions are some men in suits in an office. Same with the signs in the store we are told what to put up and for how long whether we have the beverage or not, this is a corporation not an independent business. not to mention that there was print on the bottom of the cold brew adverts saying limited availability. you're a grown woman and i wish you could hear how ridiculous you sound. judging from your videos you sound like a regular at your location so i just hope you know that baristas don't forget and you most likely get decaf every drink you order and who knows what else, you're lucky if it's only decaf they're giving you. never piss off people who are making your food/drinks.

No no no. You are the type that we absolutely hate! First and foremost, ITS COFFEE!! If this is all you have to complain about, you're doing just fine. Secondly as many have mentioned already, the cold brew is done in small batches and you can only have so many of those big buckets sitting in the way at one time. You aren't the only one who orders a trenta because you want a lot of cold brew. People come in and will ask if we have it, and then order two or three trenta cold brews to take home and use for the week. Imagine how fast those small batches go! You are so worried about the smallest trivial stuff, that I can't even stand to listen to you anymore. 🙄

I don't know if you are aware but this weekend was one of there Big weekends , they had there BOGO for drinks ... I know our Starbucks were slammed for the past four days ! Also the cold brew is brewed takes 18 hrs and can last 5 days but is one of there biggest sellers and can be there one min and gone the next ... it's one that is literally a hit or miss 😩

hi i use to work for starbucks so maybe i can provide some insight....we get one cold brew bucket so there is no way we can make more than just one of those they last 5 days after the 20hrs sometimes they sell out quick sometimes they last for the full five days as both a regular closer and opener for the store it is hard to keep track when to make it bc someone is gotta keep track how much more we have and if we have the fridge space to keep it....it is annoying when u can't get it but starbucks owns all of their store not a franchise so when a store doesn't have one ingredient there is literally nothing we can do like they will try to ship it to us on our shipment date usually for us it was thursday but a lot of time the packing factory ppl doesn't pack things all that correctly i know it sucks but the problem is how many ppl in the chain of communication not your local store hope you understand :)

Barista here. Cold brew isn’t as easy to make as you think. I can respect your frustration, but taking it out on your baristas - or an entire company - is really extreme, because it’s out of their control. As you know, cold brew takes a while to brew. What you may not know, is it also requires a separate set of equipment, and when it first launched at Starbucks, most stores only had one set of equipment. Which makes sense, because if cold brew flops after 2 months, they haven’t wasted money on multiple sets of equipment. Typically if a store opened at 7, they’d want their cold brew ready at 7. If their brewer is a 22 hour system, they would aim to have the next day’s batch brewing by 9. Before 9, the brewer needs to be deep cleaned, and completely dry. The beans need to be ground, the brewer needs to be lined, and it requires several litres/quarts of filtered water (which takes forever to pour from the tap). Those tasks alone can take more than half an hour, and that’s if it’s a quiet day and the barista doesn’t have customers to serve. If it’s busy, the next batch might not go on until 10, pushing the next day’s batch back an hour, and decreasing the timeframe to get those preparation tasks done tomorrow. It’s normal to lose time over busy seasons and catch up in quiet seasons. Most stores don’t have this issue anymore because the cold brew is still popular and they now have multiple brewers. But if your stores brew ever isn’t ready, ask them to check the time it will be ready, cause it’s probably soon.

I just saw three of your videos: the Bath and Body works rant and the 2 part Starbucks Rant. I have worked in retail and food service jobs and I understand both sides of things. As a customer yes it is frustrating that retail stores or food/drink service places dont have the stuff you need. Jen at Bath and Body works as a manager should have consulted her general manager to see how they could have remedied the problem with the candles and made you happy ( The Customers are always right). As for as the Starbucks issue, why didnt you go to another Starbucks instead of going to the same one that clearly was giving you a hard time? Starbuck's are on every corner it seems. The girl that worked as a barista that commented on this video does have a point ( this is coming from a person that never worked at a Starbucks before). Starbuck's open at 5am in some places ( What time does your location open?) The cold brew could have been sold out. I worked at a Donut shop for specialty donuts and when we sell out we sell out until the next morning. Think about that instead of popping off when you might not know what going on fully. What you also should have done with Starbucks was call before purchasing anything to see if they even have the drink ( if they dont have it ask them what other store does have it and then call the other stores for it).
