I would say check with the airlines. Main ek 7 kg bag lekr aayi thi and ek laptop bag but meri airlines mein mana krdiya tha. The same thing happened with 2 of my friends and many others. Mainly I would say this problem occurs with Emirates, Etihad and egypt airways. Like I travelled via emirates and it caused me alot of inconvenience. My friends booked with the other two airlines. However, you can carry a hand bag or you can say a ladies purse, they don’t even check the weight of that. I had one and they didn’t check. You can try asking them for the bag. They usually do, sometimes they themselves as you. Rest it all depends on different airlines. You can talk to customer service in advance to make sure you’ll be alright.

They might. But i think to be on a safer side let it be 23 exact. Cabin bag ka sometimes they allow but even I was suggested ki main 23 exact rakhu check-in bags ka.

For what are you asking? Like for the other flight or extra luggage? So, I’ll answer both. For flight I did not pay any extra money because it was missed due to the huge line up at customs. They arranged an alternate flight for me. And yes I had issues with my luggage but I managed somehow and I did not pay any extra money for that too.
