I have two hispanic friends, Roseli who is Honduras and Genesis who is Mexican. Because of them ive experienced do much of their culture being white and its such an amazing experience. Ive been to a quinceanera, tried so much food and candy ive never tried before, been to parties with them. I even watched a boxing match between Mexico and Spain women with Genesis and seeing her so pumped and yelling at the tv for mexico was just...really nice. They call me their token white friend or say i am a converted hispanic lmao. I really love experiencing their culture. Not to mention their family is so warm and welcoming to me. Theres an obvious language barrier but it doesnt stop us from having a good time together.
