I moved to Romania 6 years ago, I love Romania. I live in a village next to Danube river. Bought the land and the home something that in other west countries you need to work for 35 years.. Romania create for me the Romania Dream, not the Australia "Dream" = "Hell", I was spend 10 ys of my life for nothing !. Thank you Romania ! ( I am Greek )

hi, KZbin recommended me your vlog, and I subscribed :) I'm Polish but living in Ireland. Romania looks quite similar to Poland, we also have those outdoor markets. Only after I moved to Ireland, I started to appreciate places like that. I've been to Romania once, to Oradea only - it's a beautiful city. There are also a lot of Romanian people in Ireland, so my half-Irish daughter has a lot of Romanian friends :) Anyway, I'm looking forward to more vlogs from Romania! :)

Even with the heat, the advantage to living in Reșița (or Caransebeș) is that you can easily go up the mountain (Semenic or Muntele Mic respectively) to enjoy cooler temperatures.

And when I make the bed, she stays under the covers very still and I call her and pretend I don't know where she is, and then she pops out HERE I AM! It's a fun game :)

Iti multumesc ca prezinti imagini de la noi, pt straini ca sa vada o imagine realista, ca nu suntem chiar lumea a treia, e ok daca muncesti si faci ce trebuie, se traieste decent. Doresc sa-ti sugerez, ca tuturor romanilor, sa va instalati un ap. de aer conditionat. Clima se incalzeste, va fi ca in Spania, si trebuie sa invatam sa ne putem cel putin un aer conditionat, la fel cum ne incalzim iarna, pentru ca tine de supravietuire! Nu stiu ce m-as fi facut fara! Cu cat inaintamin varsta cu atat suntem mai sensibili la temperaturi extreme, ati vazut cati au murit din cauza caldurii. Nu conteaza cat costa, nu va zgarcitit, ap de aer conditionat e obligatoriu pentru o casa, pentru confortul si longevitatea noastra. Nu e adevarat ca face rau, ca racesti, etc. Eu ii dau drumul doar cand e foarte cald, poti regla ventilatia si temperatura, si nu am racit. Succes!

Însă nu am mai găsit nimic pe stoc iar dacă găseam totuși a fost și este imposibil să găsesc o persoană disponibilă pentru montaj. Așa ca prin toamnă voi face asta ! Ventilatorul l-am primit gratuit pentru promovare (de fapt am primit 2 bucăți) așadar îl consider o mare binecuvântare în condițiile în care vara asta nu pot avea climă :)

@@simple.d_vlogs oh I just confirmed, it is 1901 😊, the location is a walking distance to the lake. In winter time, it feels like NARNIA. That house was owned by their great great great great great grandfather. It needs reinforcement right now and restoring everything. It was nice village, spring water nearby, very peaceful, oldest catholic church, people are awesome, close to nature. The place where there is no negativity.

All the Balkans eat like that. I am an American in Macedonia. Same throughout Eastern Europe. Been 5o Bucharest and friend took me to traditional Romanian restaurant. all the same food and music too, just in your language, we sang the same songs but in different languages😂. You should get an air conditioner/heater inverter. You will probably need it both in summer and winter.

Yup. Romania has become very hot. Blame sweedish ikea owners for stripping rom. forests, and sm local (petty) thieves. When i grew up in rom.in the 60-70s summer was 25°, now can get to 40° or over...😮 i went to rom after 13 yrs of living in hot australia. I was in shock to experience that type of heat in my home town!😮😮

I leftvtge country 5 years ago, with my wife and my 1 year old. Lived in Bucharest. We now have three kids. We moved just so that we can raise our kids and give them another start. But in 15-20 years, I would like to move back to Bucharest. I miss its smell, its crowded streets. I miss our looooong walks around the city. And yeah. Romania is not such a bad country. If the EU expands into Georgia, Ukraine Moldova it will actually be a great place to live. If the russians take Ukraine, thou.....I am afraid it's not going to be too pleasant.

I hate hot weather … and it’s getting worst in some cities in Romania. I can’t function in hot wether, nor I can walk on the street and fear of getting sun burns … they are terrible on my skin , so sore … I love winter. -5- +18 Celsius is the best . Best time to visit Romania is anytime, but June, July, Aug, sept.
