Am I the only one who doesn't think so? To me, it seems that she's just trying to answer everyone's questions in advance by saying it before a bunch of comments come up asking everything she explained. I think she's ready, actually I know and I can tell by her previous videos. She's extremely independent & if you say that I only know what she shows in the videos, you're right and from that I can literally say that I believe she's ready.

It's not the fact that she's moving out its just she's clearly growing up too fast. Watch a video from earlier in the year and she's clearly different everyone changes but not as much as she has. Her being around all these older people that she constantly hangs out clearly affected her. It's clear that she's trying to be more like then and in turn is trying to grow up and be mature enough to hang out with them

Guys shes not ready to live her own, at 16? No way...But what makes her feel like she is, is the fact that she can afford it... She makes tons of money off modelling and youtube which can obviously assist her financially... She's a teenager, she's able to convince herself she's ready, she wants to be independent and hang out with her friends all the time.. Anyway even though she explained why she knows she's ready to move out, realistically, as a 16 year old... She's not. I would be quite worried about her if I were her parents. Until shes 18 I would not let her have access to all the money she earns but would give her allowances and money out of the money she earns... But the thing is she has access.. Idk if this made sense but does anyone else agree?

Well where I live it is normal to graduate school at age 16, in some schools you can even finish at age 15 and go to college then. They than sometimes have to move out because the college isn't close enough. So they would be living on there own when they are 16 and that is normal here so I don't really get where all the hate about her being to young is coming from but maybe that's just me.

honestly, if she can afford it and her parents allow her there is no reason for comments saying her parents don't know what they're doing, this experience could also help her grow and mature more as a person and prepare for real world things. my only advice/concern is that you have to be careful with the people you surround yourself with and if you're confident in them then it's fine. IF there's a roomate issue there's a way to get out and away from that. but her little rant and reason for moving in my opinion could have been worded better "it's not like I love my family, but I have to have friends too" that I strongly disagree with, and hopefully she just worded that wrong. at the end of the day, it's her choice, her life and her money. good luck and I hope all goes well. I'm 19 almost 20 years old.

I don't like that just because I don't necessarily agree with her moving out that suddenly I have to be jealous of her or think she's stupid, because that's not the case for either of those. Honestly, there must be something about California why teenagers feel the need to grow up so fast. I'm 16 too, and I know that everyone is different but why move out so young? She's literally growing up so fast, and I've been watching her for so many years so obviously I'm proud of her, but this generation is losing sight of what it means to be a kid. There's plenty of time for all that other stuff, and at the end of the day I really just hope she's happy with her decision.

+Kolorlesssoul thank you for this :) with youtube being littered with vlogs and videos of people's lives in LA and all of the travelling and the shopping, etc. sometimes I feel like we end up feeding our mind with it so much, that we begin to believe that because they look happy, then that is the only way to be happy. I've been caught watching vlogs and thinking, if only I could live in LA and go out when I want and have money for my own apartment and all of those cute clothes, etc. then I'm like, "no! snap out of it! they're having fun, but you're blessed, too, and you're happy. don't let other people's happiness outshine your happiness!"... let's simultaneously be happy and grateful :) And I'm not saying that vloggers are doing anything wrong! This video literally gives me so much inspiration that it makes me want to cry. Knowing that you were 16 when you moved out and did what you wanted to make you happy gives me a lot of inspiration to do what makes me happy. I clicked on this video because I'm in the process of attempting to move back to my home state but it's very difficult because of my mother. I'm finishing my little tangent but I just want to say that you're giving me inspiration to say fuck it and just be happy.
@ceceamoi94829 жыл бұрын
You moved out at 16? I'm sorry, but I'm actually shocked that your mother would allow you to move out at 16 with an adult. You are growing up way to fast. Yes, I am aware that you bought your own car with your own money, and pay your own phone bills, congrats! But moving out is different story. You're 16, you are not even an adult yet, you are considered to be a child. Your roommate is 19, she is an adult. Let's just take a moment to process how odd that sounds. You should have stayed with your mom and lived with her, as a normal 16 year old girl would. Also, you saying, "suck my ass" is actually quite rude. You seem a lot more nicer in your regular videos. But yeah, congrats on your new move and I wish you the best.

Just because she's old doesn't mean she doesn't get it she's OLDER so she must be wise, which means she knows that her daughter is ready to be on her own she's turning 17 it's not like she just turned 16 from being 15 okay it's like living with your sister basically so honestly leave it alone especially if it's not affecting you in any way.

Monica Garcia I don't care, if you are under the age of 18, you are not an adult yet. It doesn't matter if she is almost turning 17, so what? She's still considered to be a child, the fuck. Tracy Ochoa Exactly! That was quite arrogant of her to say that and rude. I mean...nobody guarantees these KZbinrs that they will be rich tomorrow! What if she suddenly only has 3 subscribers....will she be able to afford this apartment? The place looks nice and new so I'm sure she's paying a lot for her half of the rent. Life in Los Angeles is expensive. California is one of the most expensive states to live in. Telling the people who helped her get an income to kiss her ass isn't very smart. But then again she's only 16...not wise enough to know what life is about.
@Simserlee9 жыл бұрын
liadoesnothing Nobody was telling her what she can or cannot do, I thought I personally wasn't criticising her in a rude way, I was actually being civil. You, however have been extremely rude. I simply stated that her telling people to "suck my ass" wasn't very grown up or nice to the people who are a major reason for why she has money to move out in the first place. I think you have misplaced anger that you need to sort out. I won't be replying again.
@kerstinhannah84349 жыл бұрын
Jaylee Plays Sims I totally agree with this comment. I find it incredibly rude and immature for her to tell her subscribers to suck her ass. These people not only support her youtube channel, but also support her financially. Without her subscribers she wouldn't be able to live the leisure lifestyle she lives now. So instead of being disrespectful she should thank them by putting more effort into her vlogs.

***** Even if that is the case, it is still incredibly rude to tell people to "suck my ass." Rather, she could have simply stated that although some may not support her decision to move out, she feels that she is ready and capable to move out. There was no need to be rude and immature about the matter.

Well, here in the Philippines, we value our family tradition and that's why even though we're in our 20's or even 30's, we still live with our parents. It's pretty sad though, you're soooo young, and moving out out in that age. You might not see your parents every single day compared to before. It just sucks to be living that way in America. You can earn money without moving out ya know.
@TheQueenZuma9 жыл бұрын

It's not sad. She can do whatever she wants. I'm Filipino too and I value our family tradition. I think it would be better for myself that I stay with my family because that is what I think is best for me and that is my choice. But there are many people who are different and have different choices. Like Maddi, she chooses to move out and it's not a sad choice. It's something that she wants to do. This doesn't mean she hates her family or she won't be able to see her family anymore. It's just her choice and everyone should just stop being so unsupportive.

I'm from Mexico. I'm 27 years old and I'm living with my parents at the moment. I lived outside home when I was 18. I lived a year abroad in Canada and after that 6 months in London and 6 months in Paris. I studied university in other state living on my own. Believe me there's a reason why parents exist. I have made some mistakes. Hell I am still learning. I started partying when I was 15 and I got in trouble big time. And yeah probably all that made me who I am today but still she's so so young to be thinking that way. I am glad she's being responsible but I mean unfortunately, your safety is not always up to you. Just be careful. Evil does exist.

It doesn't matter about how old she is its about the level of maturity . She can support herself better then any 16 year old out here. If she wants to move out and do whatever she wants WITH THE MONEY SHE EARNED then she could. I understand that 16 might not be the age a lot of teenagers go out to live my them selfs but you need to understand that it's about how mature the person is

I'm 20 years old, and I'm so ready to move out and I have a husky but I would never move without her. My dog is always put before myself, you obviously don't love her that much otherwise you wouldn't of moved out and left her behind. I understand that some places won't accept any pets, but your family home did. So you didn't need to move out. You wanted to and you knew you'd have to leave your animal behind in the process, that's so selfish.
@Beautifulthings39 жыл бұрын
It's a dog not a child 😂 lol
@ashleighnatalie9599 жыл бұрын
You obviously don't own a pet and never have because clearly you don't understand the bond. And your probably too young to understand.
@ashleighnatalie9599 жыл бұрын
So basically she got a dog and then moved out and left it behind. Am I the only one that finds this cruel?! A dog relies on you for everything, how do you think the dog feels, going from seeing her everyday to seeing her like 3 times a week? (I dunno how often). But yeah, I do look at my dog as MY responsibility and even if my parents/anyone offered to have her so that I could move out, I would never ever do that, it's selfish and she should never have got the dog in the first place. I choose to have a dog knowing that I wouldn't be able to do anything like go abroad or move out into a private house. I just think she's made a very quick decision and took off without thinking how her dog is going to feel. She doesn't know responsibility. She DID NOT have to move out of her parents house, that was her choice. She's clearly very immature and so are the rest of you that can't see where I'm coming from when I'm saying all this. Some will say she's moved out and that shows maturity, apparently, but it doesn't! It just shows she earns a lot of money and decided to move out just because she can. Y'all need to grow a heart! Bye.
@beabaila139 жыл бұрын
It sounds like it's her dog, not the family dog? So I definitely agree with you, obviously if she left the dog so quickly she's not ready for the responsibility of moving out.

When I watch Maddi i constantly forget how old she is, maybe it is because a lot of her friends are older but im my opinion she does not act like a 16 year old. She's really mature for her age, and if this is what she thinks is going to make her happy then everyone needs to chill out. I don't understand why so many people get so worked up over things that DO NOT EFFECT THEM. If Maddi thinks moving out is the best thing for her then that's amazing and I hope it works out for her, but even if it doesn't then I'm sure she will live and learn. I can tell she knows she's extremely blessed to be able to support herself at 16 years old, and that's such a huge accomplishment.

So here's the story, I woke up and found myself staring at the notification that maddi was moving. So suddenly I was like what??! But she's only 16! So I watch this video... I CANT BELIEVE SHE ACTUALLY MOVED OUT!! Maddi I love deeply but what if something goes wrong like the apartment being broken into or you never get booked for modeling anymore? She doesn't have a part time job to fit in on the online school? You bought your own car already and seem to be paying a few bills, but I'm not trying to be mean or anything but sometimes it feels like you're in a rush to be all grown up... Here in Texas where I live I've had a friend move into his own apartment at 15, he's a high school student in public school... Don't try to do too many things to get the thrill of living like an adult sometimes don't always work out as planned.......
