You've still got a lot of colour in your garden. I really like the colour of your Sweet Williams and the Coreopsis. All of my Lobelia has had it but yours is still looking great. We've had all sorts of weather this week and it went really cold but today has been beautiful so I made a start on my bulb planting. I like the miniature Daffodils Tete a Tete and found a double variety which I've not seen before. My brother likes Fritillaries but he can't get them to start off so I've done some pots for him as I seem to have no trouble with them. My soil is heavy clay so I do all my bulbs in pots otherwise they'd rot if they were in the ground. That was good that you heard about the Eucalyptus before it did any damage to your house. That's what I like about gardeners, they're always generous with their knowledge so that we all learn from each other. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for the tour.

@@wendybartlett6717 Thank you, I am really enjoying how the sweet William is looking now. For ages it looked a bit blah but it has definitely turned a corner. The coreopsis were wee bargains from the supermarket and I can’t believe how well they’ve done. I don’t know if my lobelia are still doing ok since it’s kind of tucked away in a corner, it’s a bit sheltered there. Our weather has got really cool too but it’s supposed to heat up again so that’ll be nice. I think I may have bought the same tete a tetes as mine are doubles too. Well done getting started with your bulbs, I’m going to have to clear out some pots. I don’t have much luck with fritillaries either, just got two out of 15 bulbs. Yes I was really grateful for the tip about the eucalyptus, I just hope I can get it settled properly in to the pot. It really is a great community the gardening one. Thanks again for watching and as always leaving alovely thoughtful comment. I hope you are having a lovely weekend. 🥰

😮 winter coat time, here too it’s not cold but it’s raining ☔️. Do you make cuttings from your skimmia, I did and used water to root them first. I also wanted to do more hydrangeas from cuttings this year as my daughter wants some. It’s all still looking beautiful and hopefully will for a bit longer. Have a wonderful weekend, Ali ☔️🌦️🇨🇦

@@myrustygarden it’s definitely cooled down and feels like Autumn. It’s supposed to get warmer again though next week I think so that’s good. I’ve not tried taking Skimmia cuttings yet, I’ll need to give that a go. I have a few hydrangea cuttings that seem quite healthy. I’d love to have all my Annabelle ones root and have a hedge of them.Good luck with your cuttings for your daughter. It always amazes me if I have success with cuttings as I always think that’s what real gardeners can do lol. I’m really hoping to have some colour in the garden for a wee while more, if the frost stays away from. I hope you are having a great weekend 🏴🥰
