If the neighbor was a detective, why wasn't he suspicious of what was going on there?
@catherinewalton68392 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right that's a great question ⁉️ So nobody answered so I'm going to say that I think the reason he didn't get involved was because he was so busy with his work as a detective that he wasn't present in the neighborhood to really see what was going on around him. 😊
@karencook94902 ай бұрын
@@catherinewalton6839 my friend was a Detective Sergeant for the NYPD Bomb Squad and I'm sure he would have been extremely aware of what was happening in his neighborhood. I'm sure the story detective got the same ridicules rules when he moved there and asked his neighbors about them. If not, Idk how he became a detective.

I agree. I have a nosy neighbor and its a blend of annoying and hilarious. No burried bones though. That would entail her putting down the blunt and getting her hands dirty.😅 But nobody listens to her 'life advice' lols

Story reads like it was written by someone who most identifies with the 14 year old. Several odd choices. But overall the unfolding main story is interesting and worth the time despite the choice creating an inability to immerse.

Its a good premise but the story has holes. How did one average sized middle aged woman manage to dispose of people for 30 years all by herself? What happened to the missing people? Whose bone was in the backyard and why wasnt the entire area dug up? How did she 'empty' the Parker's house overnight? Why did it take the dog over a month to find the bone? Thats not normal dog behaviour... Don't the parents have jobs? They're at home a lot... What kind of parent finds a human bone in their backyard but stays in the yhe house WITH his kids? I almost thought there was a mass conspiracy but the indifference and lack of follow up by the police for a missing couple from a 'nice neighborhood' isnt normal...
@cunderthunt7545Ай бұрын
And what grounds did they have to arrest her? For creeping next to a car? How did they secure a warrant to search her property without a solid reason to do so? That whole scene was very silly to me

It fills my bedroom with crazy shapes that are rather distracting lol. In any case great story- loved the Stepford Effect.
