Michael's been traumatised much longer, it just drastically worsened after Chris's death That would explain his maturity and kindness, bc it's usually the traumatised people who are really mature for their age. I wouldn't be surprised if he had PTSD (Post-Traumatic-Stress disorder, caused by big trauma, often flashbacks and panic attacks), but i don't think that he has that in this AU

I think we can pretty much agree that Mike is really traumatized and is not in his normal mental condition. He is thinking that as his father has come in his room , he has probably done something wrong and will get a punishment. So William should give mike a bit of support and he should calm him to get his mental stability back. I think in this condition, he needs more protection, more attention and mostly love. We can see that he is really traumatized from the bite.
