AFTER spending £19,000 and nearly dying from a breast enlargement, a 21-year-old woman will do anything to look like Barbie. Amanda Ahola, from Jyväskylä, Finland, will do anything to achieve the ‘perfect Barbie look.’ To date, the webcam model has spent £15,000 on three breast augmentations - taking her B Cup breasts to a 30GG cup - £4,000 on a nose job and hundreds of pounds on lip fillers and Botox injections. The former cleaner almost died during her third breast augmentation when she suffered a seizure and swelling on the brain. But despite this Amanda vows that she will continue to pursue her dream of looking plastic.

This is so ridiculous. When I was growing up, we knew that Barbie was just a doll. When we were children, we may have wanted to be pretty and popular like her. She did it to herself, it's no different then paying someone to poke holes in your body then put a piece of metal in it or to pay someone to inject ink into your skin or to pay someone to cut chunks of skin out of you to make a scarred design in your flesh. Plastic surgery is the same as body modification, medical surgery is not something you really have a choice in having. I'm not against body modification but I do feel if you need dramatic plastic surgery to " feel good " about yourself there's probably a underlying mental health problem.

In some countries if you are properly diagnosed as trans with body dismorphia then in Britain the NHS is supposed to pay, in Canada the department of health pays and in other countries. In many other countries health insurance will pay but in no country will the government pay for 4 or 5 dangerous boob jobs or surgeries because a woman "wants to look like barbie," especially so young. They'd more likely give her mental health treatment which I think is what she needs tbh.

It's not necessarily the doctors greed. It's just that she's a paying customer, and you don't question your customers motives. You just do as she pays you to do. It's completely up to her. It’s such a shame because her mom is very beautiful. I’m assuming she would’ve aged gracefully like her. No telling what she’ll look like in 20 years now. But... I Hope she finds what she’s looking for.

dude ive died during an a emergency operation due to a ruptured ectopic three years ago and that was a near death experience I remember I was trying to make it home it was dark and raining and right before I got to my door this loud pop sound and I woke up in recovery and was in shock due to losing 1.5liters of blood and had several transfusions. I told the nurse its raining outside and she looked at me and said "How you know that?" I said because I do. I was in ICU for 2 days had two transfusions they were puzzled how I knew it was raining when I was not told. I was almost had to be lifeflighted due to how critical I was . risk dying is with any surgery, but that should of been like no more body jobs. I'm not afraid of dying I should of been dead but I came back I've almost died several other times in my life and that was very close to death I've been and came back I'm not ready is what my body was telling me I'm strong and a warrior. That is scary she almost died from this.

Wanting to be like barbie would be, to work hard and look naturaly beautiful, barbie didnt get plastic surgeries, barbie has worked in hundreds of jobs and knows how to do anything! Her mother was the only one who spoke realisticly. Her daughter needs to see a psychiatrist. Not more plastic surgeries. I deeply agree. And after hearing how she almost dead during her last procedure. Yet she still wants to have more work done! No doctor should ever do more work on her. Because she needs professional help.
