Eminem is fiercely loyal to Dre, he took a chance on him when no one else would, he feels he owes his career to him. When Dre lost his son he really lost all will to do anything ( which I understand) but this was Em's way of saying, Hey I still need you, we still need you.

They never had a falling out. Dre is known for being a perfectionist and a procrastinator. He takes anywhere from 7-17 years between dropping an album. He kept pushing his rumored “detox” album which was suppose to be the follow up to 1999 “the Chronic 2001” but ended up scraping the project completely. This song was basically Em trying to rejuvenate Dre’s creativity in a way, begging him to give the world another album. I dig the track but it wasn’t very well received by some critics, like Anthony fantano. Since then Dre did eventually release another body of work 2015s album “Compton” which was a companion piece to compliment the movie (I forget the name) about N.W.A...I think it’s called straight outta Compton... Dre signed Eminem despite many people from his camp at the time trying to talk him out of it, Dre believe it Em as an artist and had incredible chemistry with him, back when Em was about at “rock bottom” (look that song up!) so in a way Dre saved his life, this song is a call to Dre to get back up...

TEXAS COUNTRY BOY that Sounds good, im a huge Eminem fan and can tell you, you are in for quite a journey. My only suggestion is to start with the Slim Shady Lp, that was the album that catapulted Em to superstardom and in my opinion is his best album (most of his albums are great), it’s him being a hungry artist who didn’t know if he’d get another shot so he poured all he had into that album, the following album „the Marshall Mathers Lp“ is equally phenomenal but is also his reaction to the fame and stardom. So I suggest starting there, other than that you can do no wrong, just keep doing you. I’m digging your reviews. 🤘🏽

@@BronzDano someone said critics hate Em cuz they can't control him. They brought up a good point, MMLP is Em's highest meta score album with a 76 (and they've rerated it. Imagine the original ones lol). Cardi B Invasion of Privacy, Travis Scott Astroworld were in the mid 80s. Critics consider them better than SSLP, MMLP and TES. Crazy

Eminem is a natural actor! So whatever tone is called for with whatever lyric needs to be said, he uses it. He's also very passionate and you can tell that in his delivery! Dr. Dre had been working on an album for a very long time called "Detox" but after the loss of his son, became unfocused (understandably) so this song was Em's cry out for him to rejoin with the industry, the people that love him, as well as his fans who had adored him for years. Eventually he teamed up with fellow NWA companion, Ice Cube and director, Antoine Fuquoa and released the story of NWA (Niggaswithattitude) and made an album called "Compton'' featuring many of today's artists, as well as friends from his past. Also, he confirmed that "Compton" would be his last album and that the long awaited "Detox" would never be. Whew. lol. I love your channel and if you ever have any questions about Em's history, I would be happy to give you answers!

This song is about how Eminem and Dre both appreciate each other, how they're friends weren't there for them when they were at their lowest, all they had were each other

Its so complicated what these guys have been through together that I could write all night just to give you the jest of it... Just know this, they both credit each other for there success and much more.. They are super close friends and have been through hell and back with each other.. Dre was in a dark place and Em pulled him back to finish this album... Now Dre is a billionaire. There are some good documentaries on these 2 that are fascinating as hell..

I think Eminem wants to put strong emphasis on the lyrics he expresses by rapping "angry", as you said. The lyrics are quite sad. I think Em wants to express that he is desperate by rapping in this intensive way

I hope you watched the video for this. It is great and probably helps to understand the song more. Eminem always pays mad respect to Dr. Dre and they are to this day still very close. Like Eminem said Dre' s influence was all over his Kamikaze album. He talks about it in his interview with Sway if you haven't watched that. Great song.

The Aggressive way Em was Rapping was just a way of him expressing his Emotion of being frustrated because of how what Dre did for Em like giving him an opportunity when nobody else would witch was a risky move on Dres part it could have probably ruined Dres credibility if Em failed so in the em is rapping sounding angry because hes frustrated that he's not able to help Dre during that time with his son Passing and the infamous Detox album that Dr dre has benn working on for years because Dre that he can't finish because hes not happy with it when everone who has helped with includeing em and Snoop all say it's 🔥

Nothing happened between Eminem and dr. Dre he's telling him to come back to rap because he hasn't released an album in years. Eminem also says that dr. Dre for some reason is very indecisive and will work on the same song for weeks tweaking the smallest things and then eventually will scrap the whole song because he's not happy with it. And this also explains why Eminem is mad while he is rapping because he thinks everything Dr.Dre rights is awesome yet Dre can't see it himself. He's the ultimate perfectionist which is the point of the song.
