@@goleogthais Well during summer, they had different wear. I think the major difference is that modern winter wear looks a lot different to back then. Nowadays it is either very baggy or very bulky while winter wear back then was just a suit with thick fabric.

Hell, you can't even get a suit vest that can be worn without the jacket without having to have it custom made these days. All the suits that come with a vest, the vest only has fronting and the entire back is just a double layer of thin cloth, only good enough to keep the vest from falling off you.

Also, the concerts I've been to don't suit formal wear, no way I'm jumping in a mosh pit dressed with non expendable clothes. I don't go to church, but I did have a "the number of the beast" iron maiden t-shirt on one time we visited one in high school. It wasn't even on purpose. Fun times. I also tend to avoid birthdays or parties with big numbers, nor do I think numbers make formality a requirement, that is up to the organizer. That said, I did buy a suit for the marriage of my best friend. The cerimony was cancelled due to covid lockdowns.
