Raiders of Atlantis is the holy grail of the Italian Post Apocalyptic films. It's bad and good all at the same time. It makes me laugh like no other movie.

Dellamorte Dellamore is my favorite 4k / blu-ray release that Severin did, it took tens of thousands of years for it to happen, but the wait was definitely worth it! I no longer have to watch my out of region “shameless” copy of it anymore. You did a great review of the 30th anniversary Severin release of it when it came out and I really appreciate that you did that! Keep up the great content! Peace!

Personally for D’Amato post nuke flicks I prefer Endgame. But for D’Amato “messed up “ I’d say Beyond The Darkness aka Buio Omega. Oddly enough, I just watched the 2020 Texas Gladiators 4K last night!

Joe D'Amato! That name takes me back! His softcore and horror stuff used to turn up on the Redemption and Jezebel labels in the UK. The hardcore didn't get released here. His most notorious film was Eleven Days, Eleven Nights! I watched it to see how bad it was many times. Nothing to do with Jessica Moore. Honest! :D

I find the Italian post-apocalyptic genre to be a bit lackluster in general, but Joe D'Amato's entries in the genre suffer from the same issues that all Joe D'Amato movies do which is tedious pacing and unnecessary smut, though the last part may be a positive for others lol. But the Joe D'Amato movie you need to see is Beyond The Darkness! That's essential viewing for Italian horror fans!
