Bryan, the super high quality/more polished videos you put out are easily 5x's deeper and more creative than what the vast majority of KZbinrs post. The amount of work that goes into making them absolutely shows, and from my perspective trying to put one of those out every week or so to me seems impossible. Of course you're struggling to get them out more consistently! I know I couldn't do it! I would love to just hear/see more from you in the general sense. Whatever you wanna talk about or do, just do it. You're a unique individual and whatever you do on this channel, no matter what you decide to post, I'm sure will still feel cohesive as long as it's genuine. You got this!

I live in Arizona and loved capturing time-lapses of dust storms by my house. The excitement came from being able to capture it and then show people. But then I realized nobody cared so it dampened my excitement. Now when I see something happening, I catch myself and ask "why do it when nobody will care to see it?"
@Dykestrike9 ай бұрын
As long as you care and want to do it is what matters. If you want to capture and share it do it. You wanting something shouldn't be dictated by "views". Do what you want and people will come when their supposed to. Fuck how many views you get just do what you want.

I had to do a double take during the twin series at the amount of views. I was thinking, "Man this is a really great series with a impossible for most twist" (Twins) I couldn't believe it hadn't blown up. Your videos are so great and the vibe/mood really lets us escape and focus on being better. Do what makes you happy at whatever capacity keeps the hunger going man. We are rooting for you and you are making a difference. I refer people to your videos all the time when they don't understand calories in vs output.

Dude- as a fellow creative, your videos are my fav on KZbin. You have full permission, not that you need it, from us to do short form and more quick content. Shorts, quick couple minute talking videos, snippets, just chats with your brother or other “experts” or creatives in your space would totally be something we’d go for. Considering that 90% of KZbin in general is pure crap (lol) anything you put out would still be over the adequate line. We love your creativity but also love your demeanor, personality, kindness and care- and that you share it with us. For free. Thanks for being kind of a “KZbin brother/friend” to us! We’ll take whatever you ship. We aren’t going anywhere.

Hey Brian, You have a great content and not only that, but, as an architect and a passionated photo and videographer myself, you have inspired me. I am telling you! The way you produce, compose, synch, organize your visual and sound frames, and share your story, it is so cool. You have a down to earth approach and you add nice jokes in between the clips. You are a good reference when I put together a story through videos and photos. I wanted to support you like three months ago or so and I purchased your workout plan (the PDF) format. Honestly, when I workout I don’t look at the PDF guide much, rather then your video you have for the same guide (weekday workout plan). But, I just wanted to support you somehow cuz you have some good stuff. So, keep up the good work! 🖖🏻🤟🏻

Hey mate, I found your channel way back when you had a somewhat viral video about getting shredded and the. Loved your helpful, educational content about Apple Watches and stuff. I too noticed a decline in the videos you were creating, not the quality but the content. It seemed like the purpose for the videos were just to go viral again. Not really taking into consideration the watcher. My only thoughts is to reflect on why you make videos in the first place. To go viral? To get 1M subs? (which you said in a previous video). These are nice, but would be considered a byproduct of a more solid ‘why’. Keep it simple, no need for multi angle camera cuts. figure out what you really want to say, why you want to say it, then say it :)

The quality of video (this one included) is impressive and the time you spend on them is clear. That being said, less is more. Connection is challenging and any time spent to achieve with your audience is worth the effort. As a trauma nurse, I love what I do but if I want to keep at it then self care is critical. I would encourage you to find that work/life balance that will have your creative expression available for all parts of life.

I get burnout all the time with my job. It can be really stressful at times and I question my career choice, but it's a leadership role and I find the positive in helping and mentoring others and helping our customers financially. I guess you gotta have your why's and find meaning in them. We have lost the art of conversation in the modern age and I think it's worth a try, given you're comfortable talking to a camera. Really enjoyed the twin series btw

I'm going through the same thing creatively, and I know a major solution to my problem of running multiple projects at once is..... hire an editor! But as a perfectionist myself too, and as someone who's worked with editors before, I find myself always thinking "man, they just don't do it the way I do it". This if course depends on whether you prioritise quality or quantity; I'm definitely the former, but it's compromised so much of the success I could have had!

I think mostly normal people like the professional level contents that they think they can implement in their life. For example, How you shoot in iphone 13 pro (it’s professional work helps normal people to learn and can implement) How you get shredded (Professional trainer things, helps normal people to implement) Your diet and training split (Again helps them to implement) My Advise- Now days people like to shoot their workouts in the gym but they seek their gym mates help to shoot or edit their workout videos. You should make a videos like this, How to shoot and edit your workouts by yourself in your iphone. (I know you can’t get so much professional edit in iphone but mostly people don’t get expensive editing software and knowledge to edit in laptop) > Target normal people > Free Gym edition photos presets > Capcut Editing tutorial 🤝🏼

My favorite KZbinrs are the ones who are real people who just film of have a hobby they post about. The problem is if you keep it you and normal people won’t necessarily respond in mass. People like me who appreciate that style will but I feel like the clickbate fake KZbinrs who essentially act and hype everything up are the ones who get the views.
@rdstory6759 ай бұрын
I hear what you are saying, and I agree. For the amount of quality and effort you put into these videos I would expect for them to be taking off a lot more than they have. Each video is judged on its own. Therefore your videos may soar on their own accord at some point. I would encourage you to keep making more videos - probably more simple real life videos like this. Another recommendation would be for you to create a closed paid course for beginner fitness. Perhaps a level one, two and three so that you can take someone from Couch to Fitness influencer like you did with your Twin, brother. The cinematic quality of your videos is stunning and I don’t think you should ever lose that. But you need a better life /work balance, where you can still create amazing content periodically, and then make some more simple videos to satisfy the algorithm, or more specifically to connect with your audience. I think the more that you share about your life, the ups and downs and raw emotion The more people will see you as a real person the better they will connect with you. If you let people get to know the real you, they will love you. (And I think deep down you know that). You do not need to work so hard. So don’t work yourself to the bone. Honestly, if you backed off a bit and gave only 70% of your quality you’d still be far ahead of everyone else. 🤙 bottom line: do work that you’re proud of because people aren’t judging you for your art. They’re appreciating you for your gift. Thank you and Godspeed brother. 🚀

To me it sounds like you should focus on being the director and let someone else edit the bulk so that you add your special touch. Rethink your creative process and the why. You are a master at what you do. Maybe is time to pass the ball and have a team to maintain consistency at the level you want to. You can always polish the videos but you would have more time and flexibility to choose without affecting the algorithm and personal life. Then focus on the real message you want for your audience. I love your channel and I learn from everything you post including this video on how to be real with your audience. I think you have such a high level quality of content and the topics are in line with it. I feel I am watching a movie. I simply love your style. By the way, you inspired me to finally go all out on macros tracking and I am breaking plateau at 45 years old. I am also learning deep on content creation and love your sound design and filming tips that are very rare to find. Specially the specific technical details you add. It makes a huge difference! You direct, produce music and videos, you are a photographer, you edit + have the fitness content and nutrition. Is a lot. You need a team so you can focus on the vision and the creative process to keep with your standards and the reason why you do this. Create cool things! It is what you do!

If you feel burned out take some time off ! It’s your choice to create content as well as your choice to stop, your audience have nothing to do with your choices, and if you decided to stop creating content all together, your audience will move on to the next channel, find a good balance between your work and your life and priorities your mental health.
