I never comment on videos but my dog is an extremely picky eater and is also very sensitive to foods. We got “The Farmers Dog” - you answer a quiz and it personalized the food for your dog. It has been amazing and it’s all natural and very good for them and is fresh. Never turning back!

That’s not true at all. A dog might eventually eat if it’s starving, but it’s very common for dogs to refuse to eat things they don’t like and get sick from malnutrition.

It’s definitely more work, but my dog loves when I make her food. She’s never liked any sort of dog food even fresh dog food so we typically bulk cook ground turkey and ground chicken and stick it in the freezer and then will either add frozen mix veggies or any fresh veggies sweet potatoes, brown rice you can mix it up, sometimes you can do eggs as well. Sometimes in the mornings, we even do pancakes, but oat flour, banana and peanut butter as the only ingredients.

Two videos in 24 hours?! Must be a special day 😂😅I dreaded going to school early, even into my college classes, and I thought I was told somewhere that they got rid of early morning classes? You should change your pets’ food around often so they don’t get bored with it. That might only just be cats but I do it with my dogs too and they never get bored. Plus staying away from certain brands that have bad things in them, Iams, Purena, brands like that have ingredients in them that are not good for dogs and cats. Other brands, like Taste of the Wild, The Farmer’s Dog, and Blue Buffalo, have nothing but good stuff in them for pets. I’ve noticed big changes in my pets, shinier coats, more energy, good things. Also, hope Mango’s doing better.

A lot of dogs just kind of refuse to eat in the summer months, like the heat just makes them not as hungry. During the summer, my dog sometimes will only eat one meal a day rather than two, or if he doesn't want to eat either meal, we coax him by putting a little bit of human food mixed into his kibble. But then when it cools down again, he just eats his two meals super fast, with no coaxing. So it may not be that Honey is picky, it may just be that it's summer and just keep feeding her the same food and wait until the cool months.

My parents' dog is very picky with his food. He currently eats a mix of kibble and wet food. He will even spit out his food pieces he doesn't like and eat the ones he does. He is also picky about how it is in his bowl. It can't be too spread out, it needs to be in a pile in the middle or he'll bark at his bowl until it's fixed. And he won't chew his food next to his bowl, he has to go stand in the middle of the room to chew his food.

Ok so I had a super picky dog and one of the grosser options, but still heavily beneficial options is to find a bucher and buy ground pig or cow heart, liver and lungs. Cook it (I recommend outdoors because it doesn’t smell great) once it’s cooked you can mix the meat with rice and add different fruits or vegetables that she may like (and that’s ok for her to have) and if you want the added benefits some goats milk. You can make it in large batches and freeze it. Just dethaw a bag every night and portion each bag for however much you want to feed her and how many times per day. It’s a better option than kibble and they tend to love it sooo much more!

For dog food. Pick a brand switch flavors each bag or 2. If you switch gradually it won't upset their stomach. We have 5 dogs and switch flavors for each bag.

My dog is a picky eater too but she will eat if she's hungry sometimes, we got her a treat ball. It's a big ball that you can fill with food or treats, but we usually put her food in it. We just do a little handful and she'll play with that and then eat her food right after or in-between, It makes her more excited to eat her food! Some dogs just get bored of the flavor, we just switch it up every couple of weeks, so like one time chicken, the next beef, pork, or lamb, it prevents them from getting bored by introducing new flavors. You can also use things like snuffle mats so she has to work to get the food.

My 3 year old mixed breed is SO PICKY!! He eats open farm now but sometimes he won’t eat it. I just leave it if he doesn’t eat it but I’ve also tried to add different toppers (sardines, primal nuggets, bone broth ). He’s doing much better now!

Raw diet. We order from "we feed raw" and it's delivered however often you choose. I make organic brown rice and mix it bc its expensive, but also our vet said she needed some grains bc of a heart issue. Anyway, she cleans the bowl within a min every single time.

My dog feeding advice from a puppy school teacher would be to set the food down at meal time (depending how many times a day you feed them) and take it away after 20mins if they haven't eaten it all. They soon should get into the routine of eating at meal time and start learning that it's not always grazing time (not what dogs would typically do in the wild anyway). We puppysat for 10 days for a picky pug who would literally spit out the kibble and only eat wet food 😅 After only providing access to the dry/wet food mix at the certain meal times in the day (breakfast & dinner), the dog quickly learnt to eat it all up! Dogs are so clever and can be the ones teaching US sometimes! 😂 (To do things like finding them the most tasty food) Good luck!

Jess! My doodle has also been a picky eater her whole life! She completely nixed the kibble/prepackaged dog food immediately. We make her homemade food (obviously do research) weighed out into 3 different mealtimes - we also found she ate slower if we separated her daily intake. My mom puts some crazy stuff in there that I don’t like to touch LOL but we find it’s the best way to make sure she’s fed well, enough and given all her vitamins/nutrients/macros everyday. Not only is she picky, but even when she likes a meal, she gets tired of it eventually so we have to switch it up sometimes. Also be wary of food allergies & sensitivies - we noticed some allergy symptoms specifically with beef so we stopped giving it to her & the symptoms stopped too. Never had any health issues! She’s a super happy, behaved & energetic 9.5 year old with a beautiful coat that still acts like a 3 year old sometimes 😂 her & honey could pass as siblings from the same litter haha!

My dogs were picky eaters. I went for the quality foods without the fillers. That seemed to make a difference. I don’t think they liked the fillers and extras in them. Ifound they would both eat Blue Buffalo and Royal Canin. Those brands also make canned food. If she isn’t eating them, maybe try mixing in a little bit of the canned with the dry. I tried to go with the brands that had the ingredients that I could understand and know what they actually were. My vet preferred the dry. He said that it keeps their teeth cleaner longer. My dog is picky , he gets tired of the food and just went through a recent trip of not eating to think he’ll get something new (ever blue moon I’ll make him actual food , eggs, veggies, bone broth mixed in kibble) but I stopped because he will literally starve his self . We had a bbq party Saturday and didn’t eat Saturday so he didn’t eat at all Sunday . I thought my dog was a picky eater but he actually has allergies and irritable bowel disease. So he would eat something hoping he would like it and then it wouldnt agree with him and he wouldnt want it anymore. Something to consider getting your dog tested for, at least allergies. Especially if they have another symptoms like itching, sneezing, etc.

Dog food has an expiration date of typically around less than 30 days once opened, so if she seems like she likes the food & then doesn’t after about a month it could be because the food has gone bad! (Even dry kibble)

I’m at the part where you are talking about Honey and foods. I did the same with mine and turned out she’s like me. So I can only have grain fed chicken and Kimi’s food is grain fed dog food. Now 🤞 I’ve been using the same brand with different types of dry food and she’s eating a lot better. I give her Performatrin Ultra Wholesome Grains. It took quite a long time to figure it out. I believe she was 8 and now she’s 12. So 4 years of this brand and she’s happy. Whew. Good luck and I truly hope you find one soon. Hugs

For my dogs and the food we give them kibble but we switch the flavors every time we buy food, since you just have honey you probably take longer to get through a bag, so you could store 2 flavours and switch between them every few days etc. We find towards the end of the food supply the dogs get bored of the food

My pup is picky too so I mix kibble with Cesar pouches of chicken or beef with gravy. She loves it and I can even add her meds and vitamins without her noticing. Also I’ve found the BEST vitamins for my pup. She’s turning 10 this year and after a week of these vitamins she’s playing like a puppy. We also have anxiety supplement and I get it all from Amazon. Tip for honey: I have a doodle as well and he tends to be a grazer which means a dog comes and go's when eating and doesn't have a designated time when they want to eat. this might be honey's case! it might not be because she doesn't like the food just that she doesn't have a eating pattern (if that makes any sense sorry if it doesn't it you might wanna google it for better info) hope this helps! ❤

You can try adding wet foods and chicken/beef broth to it. They also have meal toppers as well, some dogs are weird. 😂
