@@Redrum2445 I think the best characters are Yamada and Raizo. I got cherry with Yamada. Yamada is great because in the middle of the stage, he can hit just about any ball using his vertical slashes, creating an impenetrable defense if you have the reflexes. He can also hit into his own bombs to create super hard to hit balls, his vertical slashes do curve balls if timed right, and with full bars, his super basically launches the ball along the wall on the opposite side of the map. Raizo is good just cos you can get up in the opponents face and spam his secondary to force the ball past them while stunning them, plus it drains their meter.

I think you double tap in the air. You can double tap opposite your direction to cancel momentum from a bounce, also. Also also! This one is tricky. But If you walk right, ground pound onto a spring or enemy, but before you land, hold left, you will bounce left. It's a way to quickly change direction without needing to walk past a spring to turn around and start walking left.

as the #62 mooncat defender I have to disagree the controls are not bad, they are foreign, they are unnatural to us and therefore they are confusing, but they are clearly fluid and fun otherwise NL wouldn't have beaten it the reason they aren't impossible is BECAUSE they aren't bad, it's uncomfortable until you get used to it, mooncat gives you full control, we just haven't been used them enough to understand them to understand mooncats controls we have to be mooncat, it's not mooncats fault we don't like them, it's been playing like that it's entire life
