I appreciate you so much, especially all of the effort you put in to be articulate and honest. It does not go unnoticed! One thing I did want to mention, I know you’ve mentioned talked your education so that it might be more applicable to cosmetic chemistry. While I’m no content creator, I am in my fifth year of a PhD. Before you continue your education, please do some exploration into the toxic environment that graduate school can be. Listening to your anxiety about being constantly attacked is reminiscent of my experience in grad school. Mine is just one experience, but something to consider if you do decide graduate studies are the right thing for you ❤️

I usually don’t comment on videos but I do realize it’s just as important to give you positive feedback as it is to give views- especially since people tend to leave comments when they are upset, skewing your own perception of how people are receiving your videos. Your videos are amazing, they have helped me tremendously in my hair journey (I also have extremely tangled hair 🙈) and the amount of research and control/experimental studies is completely unparalleled in the world of content creation. I saw some comments on IG when you posted the IT cosmetics video and I had no doubt in my mind that you would never sponsor and item without being upfront - nor would you think/want to photoshop. It wasn’t even questionable to me. Keep doing you and try to not engage with or read comments on TikTok or IG, know you always have supporters that may not be the loudest but are definitely the most loyal 💗

So cool you and your grandma were so into hair💕… I recently noticed Instagram is cracking down on creators not acknowledging “paid” promotions (including products that’s are gifted even if they’re not paid in dollars) do you consider gifted products as a paid promotion or sponsorship?? Should creatirs be obligated to disclose gifted products versus sponsors /paid advertised promotions? How do consumers know where creators are drawing a line?
