This is such an amazing landscape painting. When I look at it, I think Alice should have gone through this tunnel instead of down the rabbit hole! :)

You're right, it is an amazing painting, the whole Tunnel series is great. As a matter of interest, how many of the short "films" have you seen, and how did you find out about them? Cheers, Bruno

Glad you've liked them, I appreciate the feedback. I'm happy to have posted them up on KZbin as a resource for posterity, and enjoyed writing the commentaries to all of them. There is plenty of material to make more, but I've yet to find a way of bringing in any funding, let alone recouping what I've spent! All suggestions welcome... Indeed the only revenue comes from streaming the two Hockney documentaries, and that remains modest. Please spread the word. All donations will go to a good cause! Cheers, Bruno

So glad you've been enjoying them, your feedback is much appreciated. Please spread the word and persuade your friends to stream the documentary (the only revenue source!)!

He is so good at talking about his work. I have really enjoyed these videos and the documentary.

Thank you! This clip especially makes me think I should make the documentary feature-length and more consecutive and real-time - whether I can persuade DH is another matter! I think it would also be really interesting to get David to reflect back on this Yorkshire period, in the light of his recent Normandy work, now he is in Monet-land.

And yes, the way he talks about his work, and what he doesn't say, is something of a lesson....

@@colugapictures7529It would be great if you caught up with him. It's really interesting how he says in this clip that he is not even 1/3 of the way through and here he is today still continuing this work in a sense. I'm looking foward to seeing the new exhibition when I return to London from university.

@@alexballard4724 The show at the RA is terrific, a pair of eyes looking at the minutiae of Spring nature, and very much a continuation. I'm not 100% convinced by the translation of the iPad marks to paper but more than compensated by their invention. Best, Bruno
