I’ve gotten charge for using more than 3 colors before sav & I’ve always been asked to pick my own colors because sometimes people would complain about the colors or say they don’t like it so they have the customer choose so it can be exactly what they want and exactly what nail they want each color to be lol. But the chair stuff may be different lol

My nail tech always goes and picks the colors and doesn’t care if I show a photo but I’ve dealt with ppl who care about it and make it a big deal. My nail lady even goes as far as hand painting, certain designs to try to make them as good as the photo and she never charges more than 65 unless she has the hand paint something and then normally it’s 70. She’s awesome!

Me being a nail tech I’ve never had any of my clients pick colors I just go off the picture and what I have fits best! I would definitely find a new nail lady! Try a private nail tech who will go above and beyond for you! They also normally always work weekends. I’m in Dallas, wish you were still here!🤍🥹

You being late probably made her clientele back up just a tad BUT at the same time in that kind of profession you should know how to get your clients done in a timely manner and the fact she had issues with color and not even doing designs on your nails would have been a red flag for me. She’d never see me again. Making me pick out the colors myself when you clearly have a guide and then saying you don’t know how to fix the chair for me which should be apart of the service to make the customer comfortable kinda blows me. I’m just glad she didn’t a screw up your nails. They are super cute 🥰

Nail techs go through a lot… she just wanted to make sure she got it exactly how you wanted it. What if she did it all herself and screwed it up and then you freaked out and were not happy? If you made her re-do them it would have taken 3x as long. I think she made it a bit more difficult but she just wanted to make you 100% happy.

But I feel like it would’ve been faster for the nail tech to pick the colors when sav said she wasn’t too picky about specific shades, rather than her searching for the and writing them down. The nail techs know their colors pretty well I would assume that would’ve saved time for her after the appointment starting late in the first place. 😂
