Please be very careful using DE ( also only use food grade). Not only is it horrible on your lungs but it is just as damaging on your animals lungs. I personally never apply it when my animals are with me.

The goat Mama's looking good. A few must be going to kid soon, their tails were 1/4-1/2 down instead of wagging. Glad you got a fork, (🥰) I think it will be much easier to do the hay and keep it from irritating your arms. The goats keep following you, wonder if they think you should give them some grains. Tonya-good job with the grain. DM-earth great idea. Never thought of using that on that hay. Can you add sand for their dirt bath? And then the dm-earth? Glad you are getting eggs.

Nice update and those tension wires make for good scratching posts. I've seen people with cows put the brush part of a push broom and those circular brushes for like cleaning cars and roads for the cows to use as scratch spots. Just an idea so they don't knock off the guard for the tension wire, at least not as often. 😂

You said telephone pole Mike bc that’s what they were back in the day when we would have learned what they were. And really they still are. My son works for AT&T and another son who works for Entergy. They both had to go to “pole climbin school!” If needed there are reasons either of them might need to climb those poles. There are people who still have a land line phone. Especially elderly and others who live in areas where cell service is horrible. Sorry just a little fyi. You take such good care of all of your animals but especially those goats. Some don’t care enough to do what you do checking their eyes etc. Yay y’all got eggs from those first time layers! Enjoyed the video! Love that little RyRy!! She’s a beauty! I have two granddaughters after years of having ALL boys….my three sons then four grandsons then two girls! Thank you Jesus! What a gift!

I do the same thing with the round bale waste... rake it up once a week and put it in their shed for bedding. They all act like it's food at first, but never eat it 🤦♀️. I noticed you boarded off the jump gate, curious as to why as I installed one for my LGD a few months ago and want to be on the lookout for any issues if you had some. That is actually how I found your channel, was looking for ideas on a jump gate so my dog could eat in peace away from pesky goats. Does the DE work well for fleas/ticks/parasites? Just like the ivermectin drench I had heard about it, but never knew anyone that could vouch for it until you all! Great video, nice seeing you both and all the critters 😊
@FowlerFamilyFarm7 ай бұрын
I have one goat (Oreo) that some how knows how to get in that jump gate. So I did close it off for now. My dogs can squeeze through the walk through gate so they get in that way. I think the DE helps on the dogs not sure how long though after rain or when they get in the pond
